Too often among guys that aren't where they wanna be, maybe perhaps you reading this! I hear: 'I'll try get all my workouts in this week' 'I'll aim to hit my calories for the week" 'I'll try work on my sleep' Problem is, those are all weak pussy statements, its like your foot is half in the door, but you're still unsure of whether you can do it or not. Something I learnt a few years ago, that was a MASSIVE turning point for me and my life, my progress in the gym, and my careers, was the language I started using with myself. 'I will go to the gym 4 times this week' 'I will prep my meals on saturday and follow it throughout the week, to an absolute T' 'I will put my phone down before bed' Those are all STATEMENTS. And when you make statements to yourself, you're more likely to follow through with it. There's a good chance if you've been stuck as a skinny guy, in a body you don't wanna see looking back at you, you have used those words at the top^ (try) You have been too much of a try guy. It either hasn't been serious enough for you, or you just aren't aware of the language you use. When you start leaving room for negotiation, fuck all happens, you let things slip, and you get sucked into the same old habits that got you here in the first place. So something I want to hear from EVERYONE, start being CERTAIN with yourself. I WILL. Not I'll TRY, if i hear that shit I'll flame you for it, not because I'm a massive cunt, but because I care about your results. Look at someone like Arnold Schwarzeneggar, an Austrian Immigrant, came to the US, poor as fuck, he didn't sit there saying I'll try make a life for himself. No. He said I WILL become the greatest bodybuilder of all time. I WILL become a movie star. I WILL become the governer of california. People like this inspire the fuck out of me and they should inspire you too. Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb everest (a fellow kiwi), reached the summit for the first time ever, after hundreds had died trying before. Because he said he WILL do it.
