Hey everyone! 👋 Today’s expression is “tell me about it.” 👉 It has two common meanings: 1️⃣ Literally: “Give me more information.” You’re genuinely asking someone to explain or tell you more about something. • “I had a crazy day at work.” — “Tell me about it!” 👂 • “You should see my new car.” — “Tell me about it!” 🚗 2️⃣ “I know exactly what you mean!” 😩 This is the more common idiomatic use. You say it when you strongly agree with someone’s complaint or experience. • “This weather is awful.” — “Tell me about it!” 🌧️ • “I’m exhausted.
