Got questions? I'll answer them :)
Some of you have taken advantage of this already, but every Monday here in Skool I host a Book Marketing Lab where I do some free group coaching to anyone who attends. This is a great opportunity for you to get some insight on book marketing and meet some of your fellow Author-Labbers. You joined a community to meet like-minded people...right? 😃 Here's a recording of a previous one if you want to get an inside look: https://www.skool.com/selfpublishingbooks/classroom/7ad1e6a9?md=99046c6399be43b5bb14962e1adef647 If you're an author who's already published, or working on a book currently, feel free to hop in next Monday and bring some questions, or just listen in and learn a few things! No need to stay for the entire hour, you can pop in and out when you'd like. The only requirement to attend is that you have to be at least level 2 here in Skool.

You can also post your questions here and I can answer them live on the call.
Amazon Ads...Are they worth it?!
What do I need to know about running Amazon Ads for the first time? Is there an ideal time/day? Do I need to have a certain amount of reviews on my book before advertising?

Like what Julie said, they're worth it if you plan to do other marketing activities as well. (post on socials, growing your email list, getting on podcasts, etc.) Amazon Ads makes sure you show up in more places, but it doesn't guarantee sales. So if you're doing promotions, AND your book shows up on people's Amazon searches multiple times, that's what'll drive more sales. One note though - with Amazon Ads, you get to see what people are searching for which is valuable data as well.
Monday coaching on hold for the next two weeks
Sorry for the late notice everyone, but today's Monday coaching call (Aug 10th) and next week's (17th) are cancelled and I'll start them back up again the following Monday on August 24th. Thanks to everyone who comes in every Monday to chat, and I look forward to seeing you all again in a few weeks!
📊 Marketing coaching, every Monday, live in Skool.
Most authors do not have a marketing problem. They have a "no one is telling me what to do next" problem. Every Monday at 10:30 a.m. PT, Shane Vigeant runs live group marketing coaching inside the Non-Fiction Author Lab. Bring your actual question. Your stalled launch, your flat Amazon page, your ad that is burning money, your email list that will not grow. You get a real answer, on the spot, from someone who does this all day. 📅 Monday, August 3 at 10:30 a.m. PT 🔗 Level 2 and up. Correction on this - I've moved them back 30 minutes. So now it starts at 11am PST.
Shane’s book group Monday at somewhere around noon for you
Just putting this up in the discussion so more folks see this and join in. This has been very helpful for me. Check the calendar for the time in your time zone. Greetings from the Wyoming wilderness.
