CalSync & Supernote Issues
CalSync is a promising product but it's too glitchy to be reliable. I appreciate being able to sync my calendars and produce a planner that updates; however, even though I've taken all precautionary steps (ensuring the planner is closed on device before pushing an update), it still sometimes produces conflict planners and doesn't transfer handwriting on the pushed planner (when there is a conflict planner produced). So the conflict planner will have the handwritten notes but not the updated calendar; and the updated planner will have the updated calendar but not have the handwritten notes. So I'm forced to either keep the conflict calendar and rewrite the notes on the updated one or delete the conflict and start again with the new planner. It's very frustrating and I'm losing lots of handwritten notes.😔

I don't have a Remarkable. I have a Supernote and that company is very generous with apps and sideloading. I'm starting to get frustrating because whenever I push the planner to the device, it creates a conflict (when I've made sure to close the planner on device) and the conflict calendar has the handwritten notes but not the pushed calendar. This has gotten worse since the latest update. I may have to go back to using a standard pdf planner. It's a pain to writevin Google calendar events but at least my handwritten notes remain which is most important since the Google calendar events are preserved on Google but handwritten notes are not. I hope you get the kinks worked out to at least have consistency in this main functionality of the product as advertised: syncing calendars & preserving handwritten notes.

I make sure that the planner is not open every time before pushing & syncing. I'd gotten obsessive about it with a checklist of things to do & check before syncing. Again, not exactly the ideal workflow for something that should be a seamless integration to help manage workflow.

I am watching the video on CalSync on how to use epCloud to update my planner with CalSync Pro account. The directions state to click the sync tab and select pair. Then get a one time password. Is that step necessary if the RPP has already been connected to ReMarkable cloud. How long is the typical time to push from epcalsync.com to my device. I connected my calendar and hit push to tablet even though there was no way for me to establish a new ReMarkable Cloud connection. It has been 20 min and the Push still hasn't reached my device. @Jason Smith

Y'all there is no support for this app. It's taken me hours and days to troubleshoot issues. When it works, it's great but short-lived. I've decided to just push through my current calendar and not sync anymore. Because it doesn't always preserve the handwriting. I'll just have to write in my events on the planner like I did before CalSync brought their broken promises into my life. I really hope y'all are able to get it squared. I can't offer any help because I'm using a Supernote.

@Jason Smith I admire what you've accomplished but I stand by what I've experienced and read on this platform: people are frustrated by a lack of support. As a concession I'll adjust it to "timely support." I finally got it to sync. It still produced a conflict planner but the pushed planner did preserve my sample handwriting. But I'm too tired and honestly scared to try it full-scale since I've lost too many handwritten notes. I'll continue to try with unimportant notes here and there and if the consistency improves, perhaps it'll gain my trust and I can re-evaluate in the new year.
CalSync No Longer Working (Supernote)
After weeks of not syncing my handwriting and creating conflict planners on my device, I decided to just generate one planner with my current calendar events and use it like I did my old pdf planner (no longer using CalSync). But now (Even after the latest update), CalSync won't push the calendar to the device and gives a Listing Failed http 401 error code. I've updated to version 1.7.4. I've restarted the computer and re-signed in. I'm at my wits end. I don't think I've ever been so frustrated with an app. 😔 UPDATE: Signing out and back in of CalSync is not the same as signing out and back into the Supernote Cloud on CalSync. This fixed the error code. But I'm still sticking to just using it as an unsynced pdf planner because spending an hour to troubleshoot is not my ideal workflow. And there is little to no assistance on this platform.
Handwritten Notes Gone?
I synced today with the new update and all of my handwritten notes are gone for the year??

This is why I say that the product is not reliably consistent and I've stopped writing my most important notes on the planner. For me, it'll produce a conflict copy that has the handwriting but the new planner that it pushes to the device doesn't have the handwriting. 😔
Help
Can someone help me sync my calendar? Everything’s set up but I’m stalled there.
