Burnout Recovery Journal Session!
Hello Journaling Community, I hope everyone seeing this post had a blessed weekend. I wanted to be a bit transparent and say I’ve been going through some waves of burnout from my full time job as a medical scientist at the hospital and this burnout felt deeper than just a physical burnout. It was a mental and emotional burnout as well. I honestly encourage everyone to prioritize rest if you have the chance because your physical and mental health is more important than simply clocking in to a job! Here’s a journal exercise for anyone that has been feeling guilty about resting or having a difficult time with navigating their current season of burnout. I know the engagement here has been low for a minute, but I will still continue posting journal exercises every week for those that want to check in every now and then. This is still a free space for anyone that has any journaling revelations, tips + tricks, or personal projects to share ☺️

Indeed! Take care of yourself
Are you experiencing grieve?
Open your journal and write about the one thing you’re grieving that the people around you don’t even know about. You don’t have to share it. You just have to stop pretending it isn’t there. Your journal is not a human, so don’t worry about any judgement within those blanks pages. Release the emotions you’re too scared to reveal to another person and give yourself grace during this time.

The Journal Prompt To Give You The Praise You Deserve!
Today’s prompt is asking you to stop glossing over your own strength. The resilience you built in quiet moments, the battles nobody clapped for, the version of yourself you had to become just to get through — all of it deserves to be seen. By you, first 🤗 Open your journal and give yourself what you’ve been giving everyone else: your flowers. Right now!

@Julianna Cooper patting myself on the back can be difficult at times. I’m learning but it’s still difficult.
