Heading out for the evening - wearing this, because its just plain awesome 😁 Happy weekend everyone!

Some time ago, I tried the Supremacy discovery set, for me, this one and Supremacy in Heaven were the two that really grabbed me. Though its well known as being a take on Aventus, I really love the moss and black currant element in this one.

Straight off the top - a bergamot and lavender combo is very refreshing. The most notable accord through the dry down are the leather/suedes notes, struggling to pick up much coffee tbh, though the further it goes - there is some detectable nutmeg and vetiver. I would definitely classify this as a more mature leaning fragrance, I think it could be versatile in terms of season and time of day - though I'd maybe opt to wear more in the day myself. I've not found the performance to be anything special, but, still noticeable 4hrs in, though fades after that - at least on me.

I don’t know if many of you realize that Edward has been inactive for some time. I was able to get in touch with him and it seems that he has had a few medical procedures which I am not at liberty to discuss here. Let’s keep him in our prayers. , @Edward Mooney and I believe as one of the brothers maybe we should explode his inbox so he knows that we care.

Got this one as a random bonus sample, so a kind of 'blind buy'. Tried a couple of Montblanc fragrances in the past, and found them to be decent enough - though lacking in projection and longevity.....sadly true for this one too. The combo of violet and lavender floral, with the fir, woody, and vanilla base is actually really nice.....with a bit more 'punch' I feel like this could be a real autumnal evening time winner - such a shame about the performance!
