Your reader cannot always say why a post sounds like AI. They just scroll past it. It almost always comes down to three places. 𝟭: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 AI reaches for the same safe words again and again. They fit any business, so they say nothing about yours. 𝟮: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗺 Almost every sentence comes out the same length. Your reader's ear hears it, even when their eyes do not. 𝟯: 𝗡𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁 Nothing in it sounds like a person stopped to think. There is no aside and no short line that lands with weight. Most of us only fix the words. We swap a few out and post it. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆. Clean words at one flat length still read like AI wrote them. 𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄 👇 Read your last post out loud. Count the words in 5 sentences in a row. You asked AI to write your post. It looked fine. Then you read it out loud. Would anyone believe you wrote it? The ideas are almost always yours. The shape is what gives it away. Every sentence lands at the same length, and the same safe words show up in every post. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 👇 📍 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗧 Act like an experienced editor who can tell on the first read when AI wrote something. Here is a draft I am about to post: [PASTE YOUR DRAFT]. It is for [WHO WILL READ IT], and it is going on [WHERE IT GOES: SKOOL, FACEBOOK, EMAIL, A SALES PAGE]. Read it the way my reader would. Find the 3 lines that most give away that AI wrote it, and quote each one word for word. For each line, tell me what gives it away: the word choice, the sentence shape, or the rhythm.
