L1S Homework: Capsize drills (and simulations)
Has your club/crew ever staged a capsize drill? If yes, what was the protocol and how would you improve it, if at all? If no, how would you structure one? #level1

We have not conducted capsize drill . However i was paddling in France and our boat did get capsized. Are we supposed to put our hands over our head when we know the boat is being capitalized?

Because I was paddling with a different team and they were always told to cover your head if your boat capsizes.

I started paddling 15 years ago with Pink Steel. I am a head coach or Steel City Dragons, Pgh Unity (all cancer) and pink Steel (BC team).
