First Juried Exhibition
I entered two paintings in my first juried exhibition today. They both got in and I got an Honorable Mention for the street scene. I'll take that. 😃

Canvas sizes?
Hi! I’ve just joined! I’m at the buying supplies stage. What size canvases are you all generally working on for your paintings to get started with? I’m completely new to oil painting. Done a few weeks of watercolor. Thanks!

I've been painting on 11" x 14" panels since that is the size Sam has been using in his classes with us. It makes it easier to space the composition as Sam does.

First complete oil painting
For being my first oil painting I'm pretty happy. The water is definitely more green than I anticipated, and I'm not sure about the hilight and shadow on the mountain. But I am happy with the clouds. Comments are welcome!
