Which AI Agent works better? Conversational or ones with pre-made options/buttons.
I wanted to ask which kind of agent generally works better. I'm building a hybrid agent right now, that has buttons or pre-set choices the user can choose for the purpose they want as well as the ability to type whatever they want freely and the agent will respond to it accordingly, of course it's not like an LLM rather it uses an LLM as the brain to generate responses but it stays on topic, working for the business. I would appreciate some advice on what kind of agents you have seen businesses use.

@Ali Abdullah Honestly, the only times it hands off to a human is when the user/customer wants to get in touch with "Sales/Team" and so it asks their email and also notifies the Team via email as well providing them some relevant information.

@Bharti Kaith I want to ask tho, for cancelling or rescheduling, does the agent simply change the booking record in the CRM or Calendars or is there more involved?
What would make me qualify as a developer for AI Automations/Agents?
I am just wondering, what things/tools/services do I need to know and types of automations I need to know how to build to qualify as a developer, even a beginner but still a proper dev. Is it more important to simply know a bunch of different platforms/sites to build from and different types of integrations, API tools? Or rather knowing how to use different tools/sites in general? I assume a mix of both is important, I would like to hear some advice. I would also like to know how I can find clients or businesses, I can mainly target customer-support and lead-generation in a variety of businesses like real-estate and cleaning/renovation.

@Atharva Ekbote Is appointment booking and lead qualification some of the more useful services to businesses? I have those features in a working demo, as for booking it can log the date and time into Calendars or a CRM, as for providing a real-time notification for that, that's something I will need to look more into. As for lead qualification, is the entire process just determining which users meet certain criteria as a customer for a business and then collecting their name, contact info and saving the record to a CRM the business uses? If that's all, then that's something I have covered and is quite simple.

@Atharva Ekbote Real-estate, cleaning and in general similar businesses, for lead generation, I suppose it comes down to logic instead, which should be easier to understand.
How many third-party services do you guys use to build and manage your agents/systems for a business.
I wanted to know how many of you use multiple third-party services to build a whole agent for a business and how do you manage the cost. Do you pay for services and the business pays you for maintenance or does the business pay the services directly. I am building a Customer Support/Lead Generation Agent that is pretty customizable and can be in a decent amount of businesses like Real Estate, Cleaning, any other kind of business and I am using Voiceflow as the main platform which sends some data over to Make.com that saves it to whatever CRM the business uses as well as to Google Sheets and Google Calendars, if I am to sell this agent is it okay to tell that business I use this service and that service and the bill could be about 300$ or more per month would they accept it? Or would they see it as my maintenance costs and pay it, and I will then pay for the services and take my cut. I would like to hear what you all have to say, I have to say it's been almost a week and the biggest problem I've run into aren't simple ones like I don't know how to build this or that it's about how I will manage this and that and is it acceptable or not and other stuff 😅.

@Malik Ahmed Well the third-party services do offer value for keeping track of the business's customers/leads, using either Google Sheets and Make.com and either CRM, like Salesforce or Hubspot. So yea after I do get a client and depending on their workflow I would try to see how I can make it better.

@Bharti Kaith Just a random fee I thought up, it's not based on any current client, which I don't have. But yes having the client own the services is overall the best outcome.
How many of you use the Free Tier on Ai-Agent Platforms?
I want to ask how many people use the Free Tier on platforms like Relevance AI, n8n, Voiceflow, Make to build their agents, as I use Voiceflow and I am running into low credits alot and have resorted to moving my workflow to a new account every time and continue off of there. Can any of you give me some advice on building for free, like I mean NO COSTS, I actually can not afford anything, I'm broke 😢, so I would really like to know how other people manage this and how they can give their agents to business even as a test run.

@Yonas Workayehu An LLM node would still take credits right? Can I still do that for free fully? Well I'll check it out either way, Make.com for example has a free tier that gives you credits every month, so that's great but I have made a lot of progress on Voiceflow so I want to make a full agent there for now.

@Malik Ahmed So you mean to say I can ask the client to pay a small fee for the testing? And use that money to run the agent for their test run? That makes sense but would they pay for it?
FIREEE🔥
Just built my first AI voice agent 🎙️🔥 Still just a demo, first real test, but hearing it actually answer and hold a conversation was insane. Now I want to perfect it further and get it in front of real local businesses, that's the whole point. Anyone else here building voice agents for local biz? Curious what's actually working for you 👀

Nice, tho I'm wondering which platform did you build it on? Was it Voiceflow, if so can you give me some tips about using that platform on just Free Tier?
