Producer submission question
What is the appropriate timeline to follow up with the producer on a submission of the script? Two weeks? one month?

Before you submit to someone ask how long they need to review. If you forgot to ask before b/c of the excitement, follow up in a week, and ask how long they would like to review it. IF you want to be aggressive you can offer to take them to dinner after the review to hear their thoughts and wanted to get a date on the calendar. Even if they turn you down, the offer of taking them to a meal can be meaningful. But if you do go to dinner and they rip your script to shreds you have to have guts of steal and tell them thank you for their thoughts (even if you completely disagree).
