Silly Sunday
“Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.” — Victor Borge We've done enough thinking this week. 😂 We've reflected. We've focused. We've looked for meaning. We've worked on ourselves. Today, we're taking the day off from being profound. No deep questions. No analyzing our feelings. No journaling prompt asking us to explore why we laughed. 😂 Today's intention is simply: LOOK FOR THE FUNNY. Laugh at the ridiculous thing your pet does. Send the inappropriate meme to the friend who will appreciate it. Watch the show that makes you laugh even though you've seen it 27 times. Laugh at yourself when you put your phone down and immediately start looking for your phone. 🤦‍♂️😂 And if nothing funny presents itself, here's a terrible joke to get us started: I told my suitcase there would be no vacations this year. Now I'm dealing with... emotional baggage. 🧳😂 That's it. There is absolutely no deeper meaning hiding at the bottom of this post. Go laugh at something. Better yet, make someone else laugh too. Happy Sunday, 4 Cubed! 🌈
Thursday Possibility ☀️
“The future depends on what you do today.” — Mahatma Gandhi Here's something easy to forget: There are still a lot of good things that haven't happened yet. Places you haven't been. People you haven't met. Conversations you haven't had. Things you haven't learned. Songs you haven't heard. Meals you haven't tasted. Ideas you haven't thought of. And ordinary days that will unexpectedly become some of your favorite memories. We spend a lot of time looking backward at what has already happened or forward trying to figure everything out. But today is still full of possibility. So let's make today's question a fun one: What is something you're genuinely looking forward to? Big or ridiculously small—it all counts. Sometimes anticipation is its own little form of happiness. Happy Thursday, 4 Cubed! 🌈

Saturday + $20 + 2 hours = Fun Challenge
“Joy does not simply happen to us. We have to choose joy and keep choosing it every day.” — Henri Nouwen Okay, let's keep Saturday EASY. Here's your scenario: Someone hands you $20 and gives you TWO HOURS completely to yourself today. There are only three rules: 💵 You have to spend the $20. 🚫 You can't spend it on something you need. ⏰ And for those two hours, you don't have to accomplish ANYTHING. So... What are you doing? Coffee and wandering through a bookstore? ☕📚 Ice cream and a walk? Thrift-store treasure hunting? Buying yourself some flowers? A ridiculously unnecessary toy for the dog? 🐾 (Julio loves this idea) Sitting somewhere beautiful with a snack and doing absolutely nothing? Sometimes we're so busy taking care of responsibilities that we forget to ask ourselves a really simple question: What do I actually enjoy? No productivity. No self-improvement. No life lesson required today. 😂 Just $20 + 2 hours + YOU. 👇 Tell us how you're spending yours! Happy Saturday, 4 Cubed! 🌈
Feel Good Friday
“Keep your face always toward the sunshine—and shadows will fall behind you.” — Walt Whitman We've spent some time this week talking about kindness, possibility and where we place our attention. So maybe Friday is a good day to ask: What are you feeding? The frustration…or the possibility? The worry…or the hope? What's missing…or what's already pretty darn good? We can't ignore the things in life that need our attention. But they don't have to get ALL of it. There is still laughter. There are still kind people. There are still things to look forward to. There are still little moments happening today that are worth noticing. And sometimes we need to deliberately turn our attention toward them. So here's our Friday challenge: Find three things that are GOOD today. Nothing profound required. Good coffee counts. ☕ A dog wagging its tail definitely counts. 🐕 Making it to Friday ABSOLUTELY counts. 💥 What we give our attention to has a funny way of growing. Let's grow a little good today. Happy Friday, 4 Cubed!🌈

Wonderful Kindness
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” — Aesop About a week ago, I was washing Julio’s food bowl when it slipped out of my hand and broke in half. It was just a bowl… except it wasn’t. It was one of the first things we bought the day Julio came to live with us, so somewhere along the way that little bowl became attached to a whole collection of memories. 🐾 I was pretty sad that I had broken it. Then a few days later, my husband surprised me. He had searched online, found the exact same bowl, and ordered it for me. When it arrived, I realized something. Yes, I was happy to have the bowl back. But what really touched me was the kindness behind it. He knew it mattered to me. So it mattered to him. And now this new bowl carries a different memory — one that reminds me that sometimes love and kindness show up in the smallest, most unexpected ways. We tend to notice the big gestures. But maybe we should pay more attention to the little ones. Someone remembering something you said. Checking in. Holding the door. Bringing you coffee. Finding a silly little dog bowl because they know your heart was attached to it. 🐕 Kindness doesn't have to be big to be meaningful. So today's question: 🌻 What small act of kindness have you witnessed, received or given lately that made you smile or reminded you of the good in people? Let's fill the comments with a little good today. 🌈🐾
