Life is funny sometimes
Hey everyone. I had intended to be a much more active part of this group, but life has always had a way of getting in the way. I lost my job a year ago and decided to take some time and dive into something I'd always been interested in but could never truly do — coding. I'd hoped that what I picked up and accomplished would help pad my resume, but it seems the knowledge I gained is still something the world isn't quite ready to hire for. Over the last 18 months I've been using AI to cover for the shortcomings I've always had. Syntax and formatting have always been a struggle (yay ADHD, am I right?), so I figured using AI as my code writer while I stayed the architect would be a good match. I was right. In that time I've built a creator ecosystem focused on helping live streamers manage their broadcasts and communities. I've got a handful of beta testers on it now and it's been genuinely fun watching it get more stable. I'm trying to turn this into a real business, and part of that is working with close friends to use our D&D stream as a live showcase of what the ecosystem can do. This brings me to two asks: 1. Remote job opportunities. Reality's set in — I'm still developing this ecosystem/business/stream, but the financial padding I had a year ago is running out. I'm not asking for a handout, I don't believe in them. I'm asking if anyone has a remote opportunity, or knows someone I could actually talk to instead of another automated rejection email. I have close to a decade of experience working from home in enterprise SaaS support. Anything in this field or related would be greatly appreciated, but I'm open to just about anything. If I don't know it, I can learn it fast. 2. Would anyone be willing to check out our D&D stream? It's where I'm putting the ecosystem through its paces in real time, and more eyes would genuinely help as we grow it. I know that's a lot to ask, given you don't know me. I appreciate you reading this far either way.
Strange
I think it's really wild that 1000 of us came together from TT, yet so many of us have barely 100 friends on there?! How ?! Why? How is it we can give each otha money every week but can't follow each otha?! It's perplexing! I've tried twice to do a follow train with lil success?! What's up yall? Anyone else find this weird?!

@Project Echoes Content consumers dont care about their follower count, let alone actually posting with any regularity. Now if content creators came alone, absolutely that would be a benefit. Do you know the demographic of the userbase? Understanding that would go along way to figuring out how to maximize engagement.
Skills and Talents
I thought we could each list some of our skills and what we are interested in learning about. I'll go first im great at research and problem solving I'm an out of the box thinker, visionary and master strategists, I'm a skilled and talented cook, enjoy gardening, and also help ppl grow into their authentic self.

I have way too many skills (#ADHDIsASuperPower). My background ranges across just about anything you can think of. I started my career as an automotive technician, moved to running a small business, then warehouse management, and then technical support. On the side I've done deep dives into psychology, metaphysical reality, theoretical physics, and everything in between. I stream on Twitch (took a hiatus this year to work on myself) where I ran a weekly podcast called Down The Rabbit Hole where we begin the discussion with a question and let our conversation spiral down the rabbit hole - it was basically just letting our ADHD take flight in its truest form. This year I put my focus into building towards the goals I put off for way too long. Taught myself full stack engineering, AI integrations, and systems architecture - all within the creator space. I also taught myself game design within Unity as well as lore building. I started a business earlier this year to take all that I learned and apply it in a meaningful and ethical way. I'm always on the look out for new and exciting things to learn and will never turn down an opportunity to expand on what I know.
Are scammers getting in?
Should I just ban people that look suspicious orrr? Id hate to kick out someone who’s legit - but there’s a few folks that are raising red flags Right?

I joined a few days ago, still getting familiar with how everything works. But I did see a few posts about contacting via whatsapp which to me was fishy, but again, I'm not sure if that's normal here yet.

I have a lot of skills and knowledge - jack of all trades to its truest form. I'm not quite sure where I would fit best but when I came across this movement, I immediately felt aligned and I'll gladly help out where I can.
