The very founders of modern scientific fields were overwhelmingly believers who trusted the Scriptures and expected creation to reflect the order and consistency of its Creator. Kepler studied the heavens because he believed he was “thinking God’s thoughts after Him.” Newton wrote more about the Bible than physics. Mendel launched genetics because he believed God made living things with structure and order. Faraday, Maxwell, Pascal, Boyle, and so many others carried the torch because their faith fueled their curiosity. Along with this, look at the record of scientific achievement in the modern world. The majority of Nobel Prize winners identified as Christians. That is not a minor footnote. That is a resounding testimony that the Christian worldview does not oppose science but births it, shapes it, and sustains it. When you believe the universe is created rather than chaotic, you have a reason to investigate it. When you believe God is rational, you expect nature to follow rational laws. Christianity did not drag science backward; it launched it forward. The modern world stands on foundations laid by men who honored the God who spoke the universe into existence. Science thrives because creation has a Creator, and truth has an Author. The old cliche that Christians "don't know science", collapses under the weight of history, logic, and undeniable fact.

How does the eye detect light? Here's a simplified explanation: 1. The eye detects light through a complex process involving the cornea, lens, retina, and photoreceptors. 2. Light enters the eye through the cornea, which helps focus it. 3. The light then passes through the lens, which changes shape to adjust focus on objects at different distances. 4. The focused light reaches the retina, a layer of specialized cells at the back of the eye. 5. Within the retina, there are two types of photoreceptors: rods and cones. Rods are sensitive to low light levels and detect only black and white, while cones are responsible for color vision and function best in brighter light. 6. When light hits a photoreceptor, it triggers a chemical reaction that generates an electrical signal. 7. These electrical signals are transmitted to the optic nerve and eventually to the brain, where they're interpreted as visual information. This process allows the eye to detect light and enable us to perceive the world around us.

This morning, I happened upon a link to a video I had tucked away from Passion 2020. I put on my headset and started the playback. It wasn't but 30 seconds into the video that I was in tears; drops raining down on my desk. I got a visitation this morning. God's presence filled the office, and I am still electrified from the encounter. It was a fresh anointing. A new school year starts on Monday, and I'm now ready in body, mind, and spirit.
