Even Bad Animation Can Go Viral - But it Did Get Outside Help!
I’m not saying this as a rant. I actually think there’s an interesting lesson here for Skool owners—especially those of us who don’t have huge ad budgets. This animation is going viral. NUI Lai, created by a mother-and-son duo in China, has been getting enormous attention. Some people love it. Others think it’s crude, ugly, or poorly made. And yet… people can’t stop watching it. It’s even being compared with The Odyssey and starting to make a lot of money. But here’s the part I find fascinating: this low-budget project didn’t get there entirely on its own. A friend with connections in the film distribution helped arrange its theatrical release, giving the film a path into the mainstream. And that got me thinking… What happens when a little guy gets a little help? Would a poorly made movie still go viral if nobody gave it a chance to reach a larger audience? And what about Skool? What if the smaller communities—the ones without thousands of dollars to pour into advertising—had someone or something helping put them in front of the right audience? Maybe the lesson isn’t that you need to make the biggest, slickest production. Maybe sometimes you just need someone to open the door. People are going crazy for this animation. But it also had help getting into the room. And that, my friends, is a story I think we could all learn something from. BTW, thanks to @Zak King for putting this story on my radar!

Who Should Win this Fight?
I just dropped two amazing workshops in the Ai Storytellers community that makes me obsolete! And all you have to do is become a member and purchase the workshop on how to make a movie like the ones below. Inside you get not one project file, but four different projects files and explainer videos on how to create the most stunning and beautiful films. But you have to act fast because the price of the workshops go up tomorrow! https://youtu.be/GmDIp2X7pPo

“Most people think storytelling is about the idea. It’s like dominoes — one perfectly placed piece creates momentum for the next.”
