Same domain, different ESP?
Has anyone used their older domains to create inboxes in a different ESP? For example- one of my doubt is whether i should use my old .com domains (previously used for MS inboxes) to create Google mailboxes Or vice versa Has anyone tried it? And what was your experience in terms of deliverability

@Diran George Thinking of moving my .com domains used for MS and using them to create google inboxes Those domains dont show any blacklist or any issues on Spamhaus technically But they did start falling in spam/performing bad on MS to MS cold emails
Huge MS ISSUE? ANY SOLUTIONS?
Hey guys, really need some input here. I had domains warming up in almost 15 tenants and most of them were past the 2-3week warmup stage and i did a placement test and all emails are falling into spam, every single domain in almost all tenants. Google specific, Microsoft placement shows 100% for all of them. 0% placement on google. I've tried it on emailguard, mailreach, gmass.co After diagnosing with claude code it's saying that it might be some tenant-IP or reputation or some google egress level issue or something else Because the copies and inboxes were all different and a 100% google spam on all inboxes even though they hadn't sent a single cold email is very suspicious. Idk what to do because replacing domains might get the same outcome of being blacklisted before i even strt sending. So i need to fix the underlying issue before that All of these were fresh unused domains Some 2 months old, some few weeks old Not used before As for the sending volume, all my domains and inboxes have 5 warmup and 2 sending emails, not more than that 15 tenants, indian IP, 25/49 inboxes each All bought at different times All domain inboxes created at different times All warming up But suddenly all got flaaged for spam when not a single cold email was sent. I'm assuming it's definitely something at the tenant level or something that is being shared/fingerprinted between all of them Could be ip or could be something else I talked to my tenant provider and they're saying- “We’ve confirmed that there is currently an ongoing Microsoft-side issue affecting Microsoft 365/Outlook services, and the issue remains unresolved at this time. We’re continuing to coordinate with them to determine whether the spam placement you're seeing is directly related to this issue. At this point, we haven’t been given the exact technical details of the Microsoft-side issue. What we know is that it’s affecting Microsoft 365/Outlook services, and our tenant partner is still working with Microsoft to identify it.”

@Jay Feldman thanks Jay! So do you think i should switch the tenant source? Any suggestions where to buy tenants from? I used to buy from cheapinboxes. And you mentioned a different creation flow, can you please elaborate what you meant by that?

From Spam to Inbox in 48 Hours 📩
I cut cold email spam placement by ~70% in 48 hours across multiple client domains. …WITHOUT tweaking the copy, sending volume, or inbox warmup settings. The problem: Most ESPs can see where a domain is registered. And if it’s commonly abused by spammers or associated with sketchy infrastructure… So even your “perfect” emails start at a disadvantage. The fix: Move your cold email domains to Cloudflare. Why? Because it: • masks your registrar • adds trusted infrastructure • makes your setup look more legit to inbox providers The setup we use 👇 Step 1: Move every cold email domain to Cloudflare. Cloudflare masks your original registrar and adds enterprise-level security that email providers trust, so you land in the right folder. Just go to cloudflare.com → create a free account. Click “Add a domain.” Paste the domain. Select the free plan. It will scan and import your DNS records automatically and give you two new nameservers. Copy both. Step 2: Update your nameservers. Inside your registrar (GoDaddy, etc.): Go to domain manager → find “nameservers” Switch from Default → Custom Paste the two Cloudflare nameservers Save. Step 3: Configure DNS records correctly. Go to Cloudflare → your domain → DNS. Add/import: SPF (TXT) DKIM (TXT / CNAME) DMARC (TXT) MX records Tip: turn OFF the proxy switch in Cloudflare for these. Step 4: Create a clean, masked redirect. Go to Cloudflare → Rules → Page Rules Create a new rule: URL pattern: www.your(cold-email)domain.com/* Setting: Forwarding URL Type: 301 (Permanent Redirect) Destination: https://www.your(main)domain.com/$1 If Cloudflare asks to create an "A record", just accept it. And that’s it. What this actually does • removes hidden trust issues • improves inbox placement • reduces spam flags significantly Most people obsess over: copy tweaks subject lines A/B tests …but ignore the foundation. Cold email isn’t just messaging.

Hey Jay, thanks for the insight. One question though- I'm using inboxing and they do ask us to update nameservers as well So was wondering how this process would be different? Just trying to find out the best way to stay in inbox
The Deliverability Mistake Almost Everyone Makes
Most people track the wrong metrics. Health scores. Open rates. Dashboards that look reassuring. None of that actually tells you if your cold email is working. There’s only one deliverability question that matters: Where did the email land? • Primary inbox • Promotions • Spam That’s it. That’s the game. How I Actually Judge Deliverability I don’t guess. I test inbox placement. The simplest way to do this is by sending emails to seed accounts and checking where they land. Here’s how to read the results: Inbox (Primary) You’re good. This is where replies come from. Promotions Not ideal. Usually a copy issue. Spam System problem. Infrastructure, domains, or sending behavior needs fixing. If you don’t know where your emails are landing, you’re flying blind. Here's the real takeaway 👇 Instantly lets you run daily automated inbox placement tests with one click. It shows you exactly where your emails are landing - inbox, promotions, or spam. No guessing. No false confidence. It’s free, takes under a minute to set up, and gives you more signal than most “health scores” ever will. Once you track placement, deliverability becomes obvious, not mysterious. If you want the step-by-step setup for inbox placement testing, comment “Placement”, and I’ll send it over.
