EXPLORING THE WOUNDS WE CARRY IN OUR SEXUALITY: USING THREE ARTISTIC EXERCISES, BODY AWARENESS & A GUIDED INNER HEALING MEDITATION. "I know this is a big subject. It's delicate, vulnerable, and for some of us, even frightening. But I've been teaching and facilitating men's and women's groups for over forty years, sitting in the hot seat of gender reconciliation, exploring the deep wounds we carry around sexuality, intimacy, and our relationships with one another. Through the healing of my own sexual wound, I've learned something profoundly important: we can sit with painful experiences, even trauma, and begin to find a way through. We don't have to have all the answers. We simply need a place to begin, and the willingness to listen to what has been waiting within us. In this forty-minute presentation, I invite you into that beginning. I'll share three practices drawn from decades of teaching, artistic exploration, and inner work. We'll begin by listening to the body, discovering where feelings live, and exploring their colors, gestures, and sounds. These are gentle ways of approaching experiences that can be difficult to put into words. My hope is to offer you something practical, compassionate, and deeply human—a way to begin a conversation with yourself that may have been waiting a very long time.
