Join me at the Playground!
Dear female founders, I’ve launched a new fun (but powerful) challenge for busy ladies like most of us. My goal is to bring more joy and play into every day, and I'd like to do it in a group of like-minded people. https://www.urbantemple.life/playground Join me if this sounds fun! We start on October 12, and it will only require 2-5 minutes of your day. Trust me, it will be nice. *For all the new ladies in this great community - I'm Tania, one of FFB Ambassadors; a founders' resilience coach, and a positive psychology educator. On a mission to support amazing women to build happy relationships with themselves and their businesses.

Your Biz Book Bestie is Here!
Hello, there, darlings! I'm Christina, and I'm brand new here. I'm an author coach/editor/speaker/podcaster/influencer, and for 20 years now, I've helped female creators and entrepreneurs write and successfully launch their biz books (memoir, how-to, self-help, niche, etc.) without paid ads and without navigating the cuthroat, brutal book publishing industry, only to let them take 85% of your book's hard-earned money! I live in The Bluegrass State. I'm a (proudly) single empty nester with two kickass adult daughters. I'm super crafty (just ask the thousands of customers in my Etsy shop!). And I know all the words to several Eminem songs as well as Broadway musicals. I'm eclectic like that. Happy to connect with you. Again, I'm new, and I don't think I can private message myself unless someone initiates, but I'm still learning. You can also learn a bit more about me and what I do here: https://christinakaye.com

We met in the beautiful park yesterday morning, greeted early by the sun and the curious chickens 😅. We fuelled up and we reconnected after a summer break away. Marta and Tania led us through a conversation about joy— a topic which @Tania Timkova had selected intentionally as a foundational place from which to start. So many important insights were shared, like that joy is absolutely crucial, but our businesses don’t need to be our only or main source of joy, and that there are mundane, joy-less tasks in business, but if we can remember the greater purpose in those, we can find joy in fulfilling the purpose. Beautiful conversation, and one that I resonate with deeply and reflect on on a daily basis. Then we had an absolutely beautiful introduction circle, with some new faces and some treasured community members. We were all inspired by each others’ work, and some of us found comfort in the “messy middle” and the unknown, together. We finished off with each person sharing something that brings them true joy, which was another opportunity for deeper connection. What a joy this was, thank you all who attended and to my fellow ambassadors @Ana Amaral and especially @Tania Timkova who hosted like a bosssss! 😘😍💜 See you Sept.17 at Luna House! 😘😘😘

How to get things done as a founder
As a solo founder, no one is checking whether you did what you planned today. Which is freeing. It also means the important things can quietly slip, while you stay busy with everything else. For me, the hard part was always starting, and then staying on one thing long enough to actually finish it. I've been hosting accountability calls for the Female Lifestyle Business Accelerator here, where we choose one key action we need to get done for the week that drives our business forward. But I wanted to share something with the whole community as well. So the FFB team and I put together a small guide on getting things done as a (solo) founder. In the guide below, 5 tips made specifically for (solo) founders. Things like planning the actual actions instead of the goals, protecting real planning time, and turning your task list into a timed sequence you move through one by one. A few years ago I built a free focus app called FlowStack around this exact way of working, back when I was trying to beat my own procrastination. I even use the app right now, writing this post. Download FlowStack for free on iOS and Android https://flowstack-app.com

A wedding celebrant says hi! 🕊️
Hi! My name is Maxi and I’m a Berlin based Celebrant for weddings (and funerals) 🕊️ Maybe you agree that A LOT of wedding ceremonies are boring af... I want to change that, because I believe everyone deserves a FUN ceremony that truly reflect them and their values. 🪩🍸 So I'm working with couples who decide to not get married in a church (for what ever reason.. there are many 🤭). I’d love to connect on IG: Www.instagram.com/maxikolmorgen And here’s my website: www.maxikolmorgen.de I do ceremonies in German, English and bilingual ones. Hope to see you in the Community Mastermind in 30 min haha, Maxi

Nice to meet you, Maxi! I was a wedding photographer for over a decade, and rarely I met really cool celebrants! What a great, meaningful job you have!
