That's crazy!
Hair Problem
I have a strange issue with my hair. The sides and back are curly, about 3a type, but the top is wavy, more like 2b. My parents are worried and want me to see a hair specialist. Before I do that, I want to hear everyone’s thoughts. My top hair styles easily, but the sides are stubborn. They stay curled up, and no matter how hard I try, I can't style them like my top hair.

@James OHara Top is about 4 inches and sides are almost 3 They grow in a strange order. Sides grows forward and upwards and top hair grows backwards and upwards. I am currently using a styling creme by Pacinos, medium hold, medium shine

@James OHara I use coconut oil an hour before shampoo 2-3 times a week. I use a serum for "anti-frizz" from Matrix before applying main styling product or blow drying.
Problem
Whenever I style my hair, it just falls completely flat after an hour. I have 2b-2c loose curly to wavy hair, and I can usually style it anywhere from full curls down to a looser 2a wave. But I can never get that classic curtain wave to swoop out at the sides—it feels like my hair naturally grows backward. I’ve tried adapting to its natural pattern for a bunch of styles, but I'm bored with it. I want a totally new look. What should I do? (In case I couldn't explain it properly, here's a style I'm talking about) (I have much longer hair than in this picture, but it's just a reference)

@James OHara Don't worry about that. Goodluck with moving!
Anyone else sick of searching for a specific celeb cut and either get "chopped" or not finding actual content? I have a plan
Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about how annoying it is to look up celebrity or athlete haircuts on YouTube. Most of those videos are just hype—they skip the important steps, use crazy editing, and leave you more confused than when you started. Since we already have this group together, I want to challenge all the stylists in here to change that. Let's start dropping real, honest breakdowns of these trending looks. Next time you recreate a famous cut, give us the actual blueprint. Tell us the exact clipper and scissor work you used, what hair types or face shapes it actually suits, and the real styling routine needed to maintain it. No gatekeeping, just pure technique. Let me know what we all think

@Solda Fades spot on mate!
Bros help me out with this haircut 😅 (Crazy request)
Hey guys! 👋 Okay, I know this sounds crazy, but hear me out — I want a haircut inspired by Jude Bellingham's 2C curl look 😅 Here's my situation: My hair is short right now, but it gets curly when it grows out a bit. I already have a low taper fade, and honestly, I'm kinda over it. My head shape is a little different, too, but I really think you guys can pull through for me! One big problem — when I brush the top, it creates this weird one-sided loft that makes my face look asymmetrical 😭 Not the vibe. Oh, and school rules mean I gotta keep the top 2 inches max. So yeah, working with limits here lol. I'm attaching a photo so you can get a better idea of my hair texture and face shape. If you guys could drop a reference photo and some suggestions, that'd mean the world 🙏 Especially for the front — not sure brushing is even the move anymore. And hey — if you genuinely think it won't work, just be real with me and suggest the best alternative. I trust y'all fully! Peace out ✌️ — got exams, so I'll check back in about a week. Don't let me down, bros 😤 (Mind the resolution)

Also — if you figure out it's just not doable, suggest me something that actually works for my texture and length. Appreciate it either way 🤝 Peace! ✌️

@James OHara it needs a certain length about 1.5 inches. It holds an "S" shape
