Saturday, August 22. GOD is still speaking. (Daily Devotional and Prayers from MASTER SPEAK THY SERVANT HEARS by AL ADELUWOYE) “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5 NKJV) My child, be satisfied with what you have. Set yourself free from the love of money and possessions to avoid being consumed by material things. Loving money can lead to discontentment and distract you from trusting Me. Don’t be tempted to place too much value on money or possessions. Contentment comes when you recognize that true satisfaction is found in Me, not in possessions. Regularly practice gratitude by listing things you’re thankful for, both big and small. When tempted by materialism, pray and ask Me to shift your focus back to Me. Trust in My presence during financial or emotional challenges, knowing I will never abandon you. Peace be with you. See: (Joshua 1:5 and Deuteronomy 31:8) Pray for your heart’s desire to your Heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, and include the following prayer points: · Thank God for His blessings in your life, both big and small, and for providing everything you truly need. · Pray for strength to avoid being consumed by the love of money or possessions; and ask God to help you find your value and satisfaction in Him, not in material things. · Ask God to teach you contentment and to trust that true fulfillment comes from Him alone, not from accumulating wealth or possessions. · Pray for God’s help to shift your focus back to Him when tempted by materialism or worldly desires. · Thank God for His promise to never leave or abandon you and ask for faith to trust in His presence during financial or emotional challenges. · Pray for a heart of gratitude and commit to regularly giving thanks for the blessings God has provided.
