I won’t be able to tune in this Sunday (family birthday party) but I’ll be sure to tune in once you share the replay. I have a couple questions this week… - I have symbotex hernia mesh from a double hernia repair from 2016. I really regret it. I didn’t have pain, but was worried about future complications from it so I opted to have it repaired. I now know the mesh is made from polyester and I want it out of my body. The only complications are minor pains here and there and if I get sick and vomit using the muscles in the area cause 10/10 pain that lasts for a few minutes. It feels like my organs are twisting. I have a positive ANA. So could the mesh be causing the positive ANA? And should I have the mesh removed? - Do you recommend mammograms and colonoscopies? - what’s your opinion on dental cavitations? Fix them or no?

@Ty Vincent it’s not causing problems but could it be a factor for a positive ANA? RE: colonoscopies - 2013 I was having rectal bleeding. Went for a colonoscopy and they found two polyps. 1 pre-cancerous and the other benign. Both small and at the beginning of the colon. Follow up in 2019 and everything was great. I don’t want to go back and have it again. Am I okay to skip it? I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this and what you share in Sunday! Thanks for your time and effort on this platform! 🙏🏼
Can our bodies really heal?
My body completely crashed 03/15/25. After many months bed ridden I’ve managed to get myself functioning. I battle fatigue, dizzy/floaty feeling, my feet feel like they sink into the floor when I walk, anxiety, severe nausea and vomiting, numbing and tingling, and many other things. I’ve seen 27 doctors since this started. I know diagnoses are pointless to you but I’ve received a handful (POTS, mitochondria dysfunction, histamine intolerance, chiari malformation to low lying cerebral tonsils to a “normal” brain MRI, OCD, hEDS) to name a few. I was healthy before and I’m determined to get back there. I found out about you from sweet Devon. Back in November I scheduled a 1:1 with you and ended up canceling because I felt so trapped like nobody could help me. I’m on 100MG bioidentical progesterone and that’s the only thing that has helped. My symptoms are always worse late luteal and beginning of my cycle. I’ve been back in a “flare” since yesterday. Just Thursday my functional medicine doctor told me I’m anemic and have celiac disease. Which I don’t think is accurate. western medicine failed me, and now functional medicine doesn’t feel any better. My question is what is my body trying to tell me? And do you think you can help? Your sweet wife told me in one of our email exchanges “if anyone can figure it out Dr. Ty can.” I was really encouraged by that! Thanks :)

@Ty Vincent thank you for your response! I have had most of the requested labs above ran. I’m going to get on your schedule soon - I feel strongly you’re able to help piece the puzzle together. One more question my functional medicine doctor is saying I need a colonoscopy and endoscopy.. do you agree? He says because my ferritin is still low have to rule out internal bleeds. I am really not pro any western medicine preemptive procedures.
