In this season of rest, we need to prioritize our health and wellness. This is why we need to address one of the major culprits - CORTISOL. Cortisol is one of our body's primary stress hormones. And don't get me wrong, cortisol isn't entirely bad, it actually plays an important role in helping us wake up, stay alert, and respond to the demands of everyday life. But when you're carrying a lot for a long time... building a business, managing a career, caring for family, serving others, and wearing all the other hats that come with being you, your body can begin to feel the effects of ongoing stress. Maybe you've noticed it in the racing thoughts. The difficulty switching off. Feeling tired but still wired. Or simply realizing that your body has been carrying more tension than you thought. So today's invitation is not another thing to accomplish. We're sharing this gentle yoga practice from Yoga With Adriene as an opportunity to pause, breathe, move gently, and reconnect with your body. And here's the best part: you don't have to do all 27 minutes. As you wind down later today or first thing in the morning, give yourself 5 minutes. Give yourself 10. Or stay for the whole practice if it feels good. There's nothing to complete and nothing to catch up on. Just a little space to slow down and care for yourself today. And if you press play, even for five minutes, we're proud of you for choosing to show up for yourself. Will you try it out?
