It was a hard journey but I finally got my MLS ASCP certification!! Everything on here has been so helpful, thank you all 🫶🏻

So apparently I got a job. I’m not even sure how because everything happened so ridiculously fast. Honestly, I think I dissociated through that interview and just happened to say the right combination of words because they sent me an offer the next day. It at a cancer hospital, with the exact hours I wanted. Which is actually really cool and slightly terrifying. I’m still kind of in shock because, if I’m being honest, I wasn’t even planning on going into this field. But apparently the universe laughing in my face, and saying, “Cute. Anyway…” This has been a LONG road, and maybe one day I’ll be able to look back and say, “Wow, that was totally worth it.” 🫩For now, I’ll be over here trying to process the fact that I accidentally built a career while mentally buffering for the last walk At this point my therapy is now call "professional development."

I'm currently typing this as I'm walking out of the testing center. lol. That experience made me question if I was fit for this career, but I ended up passing, first try. THANK YOU for all the resources and laughs! I coundn't have passed my MLS exam without them.

Just finished my clinicals at New York Presbyterian and Mt. Sinai and Clinical Training as well and I need to drill down and focus on passing the ASCP MLS exam with a clear plan. I need to know how this works here. Thank you Marilyn for your You Tube 30 days of... Was so good, it brought me here. :))) Is there a membership package that would be most useful for me? 🙃
