Day 9!
DAY 9 — GIVE IT TO GOD Verse: “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 KJV Devotion Walking with God means learning that you don’t have to carry everything by yourself. Sometimes we pray about something but continue carrying the worry, pressure, and responsibility as if everything still depends on us. But God invites us to cast our cares on Him. Not because our problems don’t matter—but because they matter to Him. Relationship with God means learning to say: “Father, this is too heavy for me, so I’m giving it to You.” You can still be responsible without being consumed. You can still take action without carrying anxiety about the outcome. Trust means doing what God has given you to do while trusting Him with what only He can do. Reflection What am I carrying right now that God never asked me to carry alone? Have I truly surrendered it to Him, or have I just prayed about it while continuing to worry? Today, tell Him: “Father, I give this to You. Show me my part, and help me trust You with the rest.”

Day 8 Devotional !
BRING GOD INTO EVERYTHING Verse: “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:6 KJV Devotion Walking with God means inviting Him into every part of your life. Not just church. Not just prayer time. Not just the big decisions. Everything. Your marriage. Your friendships. Your business. Your finances. Your health. Your conversations. Even the small decisions you normally make without thinking about God. To acknowledge Him means we stop separating our “God life” from our “everyday life.” God doesn’t want to simply be a part of your life. He wants to teach you how to live your entire life with Him. Before you move, ask Him. While you’re moving, talk to Him. And when He leads, trust Him. Reflection What area of my life have I been living without intentionally including God? Today, intentionally invite Him into it: “Father, I acknowledge You here. Show me how to walk with You in this area of my life

Day 7
DAY 7 — KNOW HIS VOICE Verse: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” — John 10:27 KJV Devotion Walking with God means learning to recognize His voice. The more time you spend with someone, the more familiar their voice becomes. The same is true in our relationship with God. God has given us His Word, and as we spend time in Scripture, we begin to understand His character, His ways, and His heart. This helps us discern what is truly from Him. Don’t only seek God when you need an answer. Seek to know Him so deeply that you become familiar with His voice. The goal isn’t simply hearing God. It’s knowing Him and following when He speaks. Reflection Am I spending enough time with God to become familiar with His voice? What distractions or other voices have been louder than God in my life lately? Today, ask: “Father, help me recognize Your voice and give me the heart to follow You when You speak.”

Day 3 Of 40
TALK TO GOD ABOUT EVERYTHING Scripture: “Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV Devotional Prayer isn’t only something we do when we need God to fix something. Prayer is conversation with God. Walking with God means learning to talk to Him throughout your day—not just during your designated prayer time. Tell Him what you’re thinking. Bring Him your questions. Talk to Him about your decisions, frustrations, fears, excitement, and plans. You don’t need perfect words. God wants relationship, not a performance. The more you communicate with someone, the deeper the relationship becomes. Our relationship with God is no different. Don’t wait until tonight to talk to Him. Invite Him into what you’re doing right now. Reflection Do I mostly pray to get something from God, or do I talk to Him because I enjoy fellowship with Him? What areas of my life have I been handling without talking to God about them? Today’s Practice Before making decisions today—even small ones—pause and talk to God. “Father, I’m inviting You into this. Lead me.”

Day 2 Devotional
DAY 2 — ABIDE Scripture: “Abide in me, and I in you.” — John 15:4 KJV Devotional Jesus didn’t simply invite us to visit Him. He invited us to abide in Him. To abide means to remain, stay, continue, and dwell. Many of us spend time with God in the morning, but then go through the rest of the day without Him. But fellowship with God isn’t supposed to end when your prayer time ends. Prayer time isn’t the destination—it prepares us to walk with Him throughout the day. Jesus wants us to remain connected to Him while we’re working, driving, exercising, making decisions, dealing with people, and handling life’s pressures. Today, don’t just have a moment with God. Practice remaining with Him. Reflection Do I only spend time with God, or am I learning to remain aware of Him throughout my day? What would change today if I intentionally included God in everything? Today’s Practice Throughout your day, intentionally pause and acknowledge God. Simply say: “Lord, I’m here with You. What are You doing in this moment?” Prayer Father, teach me to abide in You. Help me remain aware of Your presence beyond my prayer time. I don’t want to visit You occasionally—I want to walk with You continually. Teach me to live every moment with You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
