Thanks @Veronica Lees-Amato, always glad to be part of your life. Hi @Damian Meehan, I remember you talking through the embalming process with us at V’s. I’ve taken long service leave from my teaching job in term four of this year so I’m literally weeks away from throwing myself at the funeral industry in a big way. I facilitated three funerals throughout the year through family and friends and have found each one enriching, confirming that this is a direction I want to move towards. My plan is to use term four of this year to gain as much traction as possible in the hope that I might be able to make a clean transition from teaching to becoming a full-time funeral celebrant by early next year. I also plan to meet with as many funeral home directors as possible over the coming month to facilitate this. I’d love to catch up and chat in a couple of weeks time if you’re available.
