Prioritize What’s Important
The common denominator to joy is how we prioritize and manage self. The better we order our own steps, managing the activities that maintain our wellbeing - the better we are for ourselves and others

Excuses Can Kill Momentum
An excuse used to avoid accountability, evade correction or even elude embarrassment, does not lead us to growth. Don’t make an excuse. Acknowledge what your experience is. If you need to improve, acknowledge it. An example: don’t make an excuse for being late, acknowledge the cause. If you’re late due to your own actions, take accountability. If you are late due to the conditions you can’t control, operate with gratitude and still take accountability. Taking accountability, keeps your power within you.

Trust the Process
Sometimes we experience the unexpected along our journeys. It is all a part of the process. When seeking growth, we will be positioned to develop the areas that will be needed to move forward. We won’t always be able to dictate the circumstances that provide the lesson, but what we can control is our commitment and perspective. Whether you are up or are going through some wilderness, don’t stop applying principles and operating with gratitude. Trust the Process

Life is the Sport | Message of the Day
Connection and Trust is mandatory to succeed in sports. Players have to trust the coach will put them in position to win. Coaches have to trust players will apply the lesson taught. Connection and Trust doesn’t start with sports though. It starts at home. It starts with faith in the Highest Power. The only way to have a connection and trust in YAH, parents, coaches, friends, is to have a relationship.

Week 3
The path of less resistance does not build the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual stamina to overcome the challenges that lay ahead. Know it takes time, discipline, effort, failure, grit, commitment, dedication, favor and more to be great. Be willing to take the time!
