@Dawn Bowers also from what I understand you can do it for books that exist for limited edition style/types so if I wanted to do a board book of one of the books I already published etc

@Dawn Bowers ya don’t owe anyone anything if you don’t meet the goal as far as I understand. There’s a book that I watched a video on somebody who did like a kickstarter and raised like a crazy insane amount of money like $89,000 or something for her book line and she said that most people ordered all 6 books in the fancy bindings did the kickstarter for haha she had her work cut out for her with shipping thousands of books. But I saw this book mentioned I may get it it’s called kick starter for authors. There’s two I think the 2025 version might be the newer one. I’m not quite sure by Anthea Sharp. I’m still learning it’s kind of like an intense book lunch that you do tons of marketing for it etc
