This week we found some cooler weather and beautiful scenery here in Telluride Co at the annual Corvettes and colors car show!

Little suspension love on the hellcat C10 today. Set of cal tracs and nice viking shocks on the rear. Fun project as I've never worked on a leaf sprung rig before. Will hook up and bleed brakes Monday and tidy up exhaust. Back to burnouts before we know it!

Test and tune at semi-local track today, 62mi away, good opportunity to tow our raceweek trailer with the car in this heat to see how it all acts...and see if I could nab a 9sec slip with this LT1. Sadly the track only had timing system on for 1/8mi but I had a dragy onboard and they said it was cool if I leg it out the back. Soooooo close. Posted back to back 10.02 slips on the dragy. The actual time slip said it was .04 quicker to the 1/8 than the dragy so maybe it really went 9.98 out the back!?!? All in all, this was good test for towing that trailer and get a baseline tune up for RMRW (is in 2 weeks) where I plan to run the 10.0 index. DA was terrible today around 4200ft and 25mph dead on head wind. So any reas9na le weather change will get it there.. Pretty excited. Bonus quality time with my 15yr old son 🤩

I’ve got a 416 LT with 2.9 Whipple and using Holley Terminator X for engine management The problem is the motor will not run properly after 5800 rpm Running AN 8 fuel line 2 340 pumps in the gas tank LT4 injectors LT 4 high pressure pump NGK LTR71X-11 plugs 23 gap It’s making 8 pounds of boost at 5600 rpm and then it starts breaking up !
