Snagged a block from a local guy. The 5.3 came out of an early 2000’s truck with low miles for its age. Decided this one was going into my new rock crawler buggy. Was a fun mild build all around & was able to get both my kids involved in there first engine build so that was cool. Looking fwd to hearing this thing come to life one of these days. Should be a blast on the trial. Just completed an LS swap on my 1972 Oldsmobile 442.It has a BluePrint LS 376 with 550hp and 4l80e trans.Got it on the road and doing some tuning with the Holley terminator x.ICT Billet accessory brackets worked out great for the old school look.

From LS world we knew that head bolts and balancer bolts were single use torque to yield.. Man they went HARD on TTY for the LT adding mains, rod bolts, flexplate bolts, and cam phaser bolt to that list. So heads up for anyone doing a stock rebuild with an LT, you've got more fasteners to buy than you may have originally planned!
