Nice to meet you @Mindy Spencer I can relate so much to that question of, “Who am I now?” I’ve had mornings where I’ve woken up wondering the same thing, and there’s something comforting in knowing I’m not the only one figuring that out in this season of life. I hope once things settle down with your job transition, you get some room to just be and see what starts to come back to the surface. 😊
🌿 Awareness is here: Begin Where You Are
Something new is waiting for you inside the Classroom. Our first Radical Unbecoming Community practice is LIVE: Begin Where You Are The Practice of Noticing And we're starting exactly where we should: with Awareness. Not awareness as another thing to master. Not another personality assessment. Not a quiz about how self-aware you are. 😉 Just the practice of paying attention to what's already happening inside you. What are you saying yes to? What are you avoiding? Where do you feel most like yourself? Where do you notice yourself automatically doing the thing you always do? And what happens when, instead of immediately judging or fixing it, you simply think: Huh. Interesting. That's where we're beginning. Inside the module, you'll find a very simple practice to try over the next few days: Notice → Pause → Get Curious That's it. And here's the important part: You don't have to have completed the Compass to participate. If you've already done it, you'll have an opportunity to return to your Homecoming Letter and notice what feels different now. If you haven't done it yet, you're still completely welcome to begin here. There is no catching up. No falling behind. No gold star for doing it “right.” Just begin where you are. 🌿 👉 Head into the Classroom and start with “Begin Where You Are.” And then come back here and tell us: What's something you've noticed about yourself lately? It doesn't have to be profound. It doesn't have to make sense. It doesn't even have to be something you're ready to change. Just something you noticed. I'll go first. 👇

@Becki Salzman Ditto 😊
Welcome to Awareness
August is Awareness month inside Radical Unbecoming. And before we make Awareness into one more thing to DO, let’s take a breath. Awareness isn’t about becoming more observant, more disciplined, more evolved, or somehow better at being a woman. It’s about noticing. What’s happening in you? What keeps getting your attention? What are you saying yes to when your whole body is saying “really?” For today, don’t change a thing. Just notice. Radical Reflection: What have I been noticing lately that I haven’t quite wanted to name? No fixing. No action plan. Just seeing.

Awareness called me home!
Hi all! Wanted to share an experience I had yesterday that really demonstrates that the 6 ways of returning on The Radical Unbecoming Compass are always present, and usually 1, sometimes 2, are calling for more attention. For me, it was awareness. Share your experiences and how you are showing up more authentically. 🩵💜

First, congratulations on your upcoming retirement! That has to feel exciting knowing you’re so close to stepping into this next chapter and having more time for the work you’re building. One pattern I’ve been becoming more aware of in myself is how quickly I can take on too much. I’ll say yes, challenge myself to do one more thing, and before I know it, I’ve put more on my plate than I realistically have room for. I’m learning to notice that earlier and scale back before I get to the overwhelmed part.

@Becki Salzman saying yes to a speaking engagement/collaboration. I’m pushing myself to “get out there” and out of my comfort zone. This is something I would’ve said no to several months ago. I’m glad I didn’t. 🙂
Welcome!
🌿 Welcome to Radical Unbecoming! A very warm welcome to our newest members! We’re so glad you’re here. 💛 You didn’t join another group full of pressure to “fix” yourself. You joined a community of women who are choosing something different—returning to themselves with curiosity, courage, compassion, and honesty. Whether you’re navigating a career change, retirement, menopause, an empty nest, caregiving, a relationship shift, or simply asking, “Who am I now?”—you belong here. We’d love to get to know you! Introduce yourself in the comments by sharing as much (or as little) as you’d like: ✨ What name would you like us to call you? 📍 Where are you joining us from? 🌱 What season of life are you currently navigating? 💭 What inspired you to join Radical Unbecoming? 💛 What’s one thing you’re hoping to reclaim, rediscover, or return to? 🧭 Start Here: The Radical Unbecoming Compass If you haven’t already, take a few minutes to explore The Radical Unbecoming Compass in the Classroom. It’s the heart of our framework and introduces the Six Ways of Returning to Yourself. As you look through the Compass, notice which Way of Returning seems to call your name right now. If you’re comfortable sharing, tell us: Which Way of Returning resonates with you most at this moment—and why? There are no right or wrong answers. Your answer may change over time, and that’s exactly how this work is meant to unfold. We’re honored you’ve chosen to walk this journey with us. Thank you for being here and for bringing your unique story to our community. Welcome home. 💜🩵
