Studying for the PMP while managing full-time responsibilities made me realize the hardest part was actually managing my own prep schedule like a real project.
Between reviewing process groups, tracking mock test scores, and working through practice questions, my study notes ended up scattered all over the place. What finally brought some order was treating the exam like an active sprint with a simple setup: ankiweb.net for drilling formula flashcards, pmi.org for checking core framework references, and floment.ai for mapping out weekly study milestones and keeping daily review to-dos on track. Structuring the prep plan into actionable daily phases made the volume of material feel a lot more manageable. For those currently preparing for the exam, how are you organizing your study roadmap and tracking your weekly progress?

@Lamont Mackey Thanks Lamont, appreciate the encouragement! That disciplined, "never move forward until you actually get it" approach makes total sense.

Hello
Hello Everyone! I've just started the 35-hour course today. I'm hoping to schedule my test within the next couple of weeks.

Welcome Zena! Just make sure to leave yourself enough breathing room after finishing the 35 hours to really grind out practice questions and absorb the mindset. Taking mock exams and reviewing your wrong answers is where things really click, so don't feel pressured to rush the test date until your scores feel solid.

Setting a regular time to check in helps a ton, but having a shared checklist works even better so you aren't just asking each other "did you study today?" My study buddy and I usually keep practice question links in Google Docs and log our target chapters as task tracking in Floment AI. That way if someone falls behind during the week, you can actually see where the bottleneck is before the next sync. Sticking to a set schedule is still tough when work gets busy, but the visibility keeps you honest.
Study buddy
Hello there! I'm preparing for the new PMP exam and plan to take it by the end of September. I'm looking for a few dedicated PMP aspirants to form a small online study group. Availability: After 9:00 PM CET, during the week and flexible on the weekend. We'll meet weekly to: • Stay accountable • Discuss PMP concepts • Practice mock questions • Share study resources and tips Interested? Comment below or send a message [email protected]

Coordinating a consistent study group gets much easier when everyone has visibility into the weekly prep targets instead of just trying to align over chat. Pairing Discord for weekly review calls with Floment AI to post shared progress updates and track topics keeps everyone aligned between sessions. Having that clear shared view makes the group accountability feel natural and productive.
