Homework #1 keeps coming up, so here is what the paid side is
Homework #1 keeps coming up, so here is what is on the paid side of it: step by step, no mystery. What the paid offer is SFS Foundation is the paid offer from this community, run by Full Circle Asset Recovery under the Surplus Funds Secrets education brand. Access means the SFS Operator paid community, and it includes the operator manual, the Field Kit, a simulation with its source packet, member readiness resources, and a local agent-builder learning reference. What it costs Payment is $500 one-time through Stripe for 12 months of access. No subscription, nothing auto-billed. After 12 months you can renew for $99 per year — renewal is manual only and never auto-billed; nothing is charged unless you choose to renew. If it is not for you Full refund within 14 days, processed through Stripe. What is not included No automatic private integrations, no assured leads or attorney access, no earnings or outcome of any kind is promised, no legal engagement, no software deployment. Can you please elaborate on the operator manual, the Field Kit, a simulation with its source packet, member readiness resources, and a local agent-builder learning reference
Day 4: Read one matter
Pick one row. Match its identifiers (case, sale or parcel number) and find the completed-sale record and the money record. Comment with: "Matched [types of records] for one row". No names, no case numbers, no amounts. This is the step most people skip. Don't skip it.

Homework #1: pull one county list
This week's assignment, straight from the pinned post: 1. Pick ONE county. Your own, or any county in Florida, Texas, or Georgia — big auction states with public lists. 2. Find its surplus or excess proceeds list. Three ways: search "[county name] excess proceeds list" with site:.gov attached; go to the county clerk of court site and look under foreclosure sales; or check the tax collector / treasurer page for tax deed surplus. 3. Open it and answer three questions: When was this list generated? How many entries have both a name and an amount? What is the oldest sale date on it? Post your answers below — the county, your three answers, and anything that confused you. Confusion is data; the first list is the hardest one you will ever read. One rule: do not contact anyone on the list. That is not this assignment.

Hillsborough County FL, "as of" 10-02-26 - 57 rows - the oldest case-number prefix is 16 How many entries have both a name and an amount? None, amount and case number only No case or sale dates
Day 2: Find the source
Today's step: find the official list for your county. If there isn't one online, send the records request. Write down where the list came from and the dates it covers. Comment with: "Found it — [type of source], covers [dates]" or "Requested — [office], sent [date]". If the office says it has no list, ask for the existing ledger or report that tracks the money it holds. Don't ask them to build a list for you.

Day 1: Choose your lane
Pick one county and one sale type (tax sale or mortgage foreclosure). That's your lane for the week. Today's step: open the county research sheet on page 19 of the Starter Map and fill in the county, the state, the sale type, and the office that holds the money. Comment with: "[County, State] — [sale type]". Nothing else yet. Tip: pick the county you can actually research this week, not the one that sounds biggest.
