DAY 25: LEARN HOW TO SELL WITHOUT BEING SALESY
Welcome to Day 25 of the 31 Day TikTok Growth and Monetization Challenge. Yesterday you built your simple offer. Today we’re doing the part that scares most creators: SELLING IT. You can have the greatest product, service, community or coaching program in the world. If nobody knows it exists, you don’t have a business. You have a secret. We have THREE DAYS until our Day 28 FIRST DOLLAR deadline. Today we’re learning how to make an offer without turning every TikTok and LIVE into a commercial. TODAY’S LESSON: VALUE CREATES THE SALE Stop thinking selling means: “BUY MY STUFF.” Great selling starts with understanding somebody’s problem. The basic formula is: PROBLEM VALUE PROOF OFFER CTA You identify the problem. You help them understand or solve part of it. You establish why they should listen to you. You introduce the next step. Then you ASK. TASK 1: WRITE YOUR ONE SENTENCE OFFER If you can’t explain what you’re selling in one sentence, it’s probably too complicated. Use: “I help [PERSON] get [RESULT] with [OFFER].” Example: “I help new TikTok creators stop guessing what to post with my 30 day content planner.” Now write yours: I HELP: GET: WITH: MY ONE SENTENCE OFFER: TASK 2: ANSWER THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION Your customer is thinking: “WHY SHOULD I BUY THIS?” Write down THREE reasons. Not features. RESULTS. Don’t say: “My guide has 37 pages.” Tell them what those 37 pages help them DO. People don’t buy pages. People buy outcomes. TASK 3: CREATE YOUR FIRST SALES VIDEO Post ONE TikTok today using this framework: HOOK Call out the problem. “If you’re posting every day but still don’t know what content actually grows your account, listen to this.” VALUE Teach something useful. PROBLEM Explain why they’re still struggling. BRIDGE Explain what you created to help. OFFER Tell them what it is. CTA Tell them exactly what to do next. Do not hide the fact that you’re selling something. SELL WITH CONFIDENCE. TASK 4: CREATE A STORY BASED SALES VIDEO Your second video should SELL THROUGH STORY.
DAY 21: YOUR FIRST LIVE SYSTEM
We made it to Day 21. THREE WEEKS DOWN. Week 1 was FOUNDATION. Week 2 was GROWTH. Week 3 was LIVE. Next week we start MONETIZATION. But before we start talking about money, I want you to leave Week 3 with something more valuable than another lesson. I want you to leave with YOUR OWN REPEATABLE LIVE SYSTEM. Because if you have to figure out what to do every single time you press LIVE, eventually you’re going to stop going LIVE. Today we’re turning everything you’ve learned this week into a system you can repeat. TODAY’S LESSON: STOP WINGING YOUR LIVE A successful LIVE shouldn’t depend on you randomly feeling inspired. You need to know: WHEN you’re going LIVE. WHAT you’re talking about. HOW you’re opening. HOW you’re keeping people engaged. WHAT recurring segment you’re running. WHAT action you want viewers to take. WHY they should return tomorrow. That’s your LIVE system. TASK 1: CHOOSE YOUR LIVE SCHEDULE Consistency helps people know when to look for you. Choose a realistic schedule for the next 7 days. Write: DAYS I WILL GO LIVE: TIME: MINIMUM LIVE LENGTH: Don’t promise three hours every day if you know you’re not doing it. Pick something you can actually maintain. Consistency beats ambition you won’t execute. TASK 2: DEFINE YOUR SHOW Complete this: MY LIVE SHOW NAME: MY MAIN TOPIC: WHO IT’S FOR: THE PROBLEM I HELP SOLVE: MY RECURRING SEGMENT: WHY PEOPLE SHOULD RETURN: If you can’t explain your LIVE in a few sentences, simplify it. TASK 3: WRITE YOUR OPENING SCRIPT Create a 15 to 30 second opening. It should answer: Who is this for? What are we doing? Why should they stay? How can they participate? Example: “If you’re trying to grow your TikTok and reach your first 1,000 followers, you’re in the right room. Tonight we’re reviewing creator accounts and I’m giving people one thing they can change immediately. Drop your follower count and what type of content you create.” No waiting for people. No staring at the screen. START THE SHOW. TASK 4: CREATE YOUR LIVE RUN OF SHOW
DAY 20: TURN VIEWERS INTO YOUR COMMUNITY
Welcome to Day 20 of the 31 Day TikTok Growth and Monetization Challenge. We are almost finished with LIVE Week. So far you’ve learned how to: Go LIVE Hold the room Create a show Start conversations Handle your room responsibly Today we’re learning one of the most important skills: TURNING RANDOM VIEWERS INTO REGULARS. I don’t want you obsessed with having 1,000 people in your LIVE. I’d rather you build 20 people who come back EVERY DAY. Because those 20 can become 50. 50 can become 100. 100 can become a real community. And a real community can eventually become a BUSINESS. TODAY’S LESSON: PEOPLE COME FOR CONTENT BUT STAY FOR CONNECTION Think about your favorite LIVE creator. You probably don’t return only because of the topic. You know the host. You recognize people in the chat. You understand the jokes. You know what happens in the room. You feel like you’re part of something. THAT is what we’re building. Your LIVE shouldn’t feel like watching somebody through a window. It should feel like walking into a room where people know you. TASK 1: IDENTIFY YOUR COMMUNITY Answer these questions: WHO DO I WANT IN MY LIVE? WHAT DO THEY HAVE IN COMMON? WHAT PROBLEM CAN I HELP THEM SOLVE? WHAT DO THEY ENJOY TALKING ABOUT? WHY WOULD THEY COME BACK TOMORROW? WHAT DO I WANT MY COMMUNITY TO BE KNOWN FOR? Stop trying to build an audience for EVERYBODY. Build a room your people want to return to. TASK 2: CREATE YOUR COMMUNITY IDENTITY Give your viewers something they can identify with. Maybe that’s: A community name A phrase A daily question A recurring segment An inside joke A goal everybody is working toward A certain way you welcome people You aren’t forcing anything. You’re creating CULTURE. Write down: MY COMMUNITY NAME OR IDENTITY: MY RECURRING PHRASE: MY RECURRING SEGMENT: WHAT I WANT PEOPLE TO FEEL WHEN THEY ENTER: TASK 3: CREATE A RETURN REASON Before you go LIVE today, decide what happens TOMORROW. Example: “Tomorrow we’re reviewing five more accounts.” “Tomorrow I’m telling Part 2.”
DAY 19: PROTECT THE LIVE BEFORE YOU MONETIZE IT
We are on Day 19 of the 31 Day TikTok Growth and Monetization Challenge. We spent the last few days learning how to go LIVE, hold attention, create conversations and turn a random LIVE into an actual show. Now we need to talk about something that can destroy everything you’re building: NOT KNOWING THE RULES. Next week we start MONETIZATION. But making money doesn’t matter if you get your LIVE privileges restricted because you were careless. Today is about learning how to operate smarter. TODAY’S LESSON: YOUR ACCOUNT IS AN ASSET If you’re building an audience, your TikTok account is becoming a business asset. Treat it like one. Don’t risk your account trying to make an extra $20 today when the audience could potentially make you thousands later. Before you run promotions, giveaways, contests, subscriptions, gifts or anything involving money, understand the applicable TikTok rules and laws where you operate. Rules and features can change. Your responsibility as a creator is to know what you’re doing before you do it. TASK 1: REVIEW YOUR LIVE Think about your last three LIVE sessions. Write down: What was the purpose of each LIVE? Did you clearly explain what was happening? Did you make any promises to viewers? Did you ask viewers to spend money? Did you discuss gifts? Did you run any contest or giveaway? Was anything unclear or potentially misleading? We’re auditing ourselves before monetization week. TASK 2: UNDERSTAND GIFTS AND GIVEAWAYS ARE DIFFERENT This is important. Don’t casually build promotions where viewers could believe that sending a gift, spending money or making a purchase automatically improves their chance of winning something. If you’re running a promotion, you need to understand TikTok’s current policies and the laws that apply to the promotion. Do not improvise this stuff on LIVE. Before launching anything, establish clear rules and eligibility requirements and make sure the promotion itself is permitted. When in doubt, DON’T RUN IT until you’ve checked.
DAY 17: TURN YOUR LIVE INTO A SHOW
Welcome to Day 17 of the 31 Day TikTok Growth and Monetization Challenge. Day 15 was about getting comfortable going LIVE. Day 16 was about learning how to HOLD the room. Today we’re taking the next step. STOP JUST GOING LIVE. START HOSTING A SHOW. The creators who become great at LIVE don’t just turn the camera on and hope something happens. They create an EXPERIENCE people recognize and want to return to. Your goal today is to start building YOUR show. TODAY’S LESSON: GIVE PEOPLE A REASON TO COME BACK Think about your favorite television show, podcast or YouTube channel. You know what you’re getting. TikTok LIVE should eventually feel the same way. Maybe your LIVE becomes: Monday Money Talk Relationship Court Creator Hot Seat Account Audit Real Estate Q&A Story Time Business Breakdown Morning Motivation Credit Clinic Rate My Profile Whatever fits YOU. The name isn’t the important part. CONSISTENCY is. People should eventually think: “I know what happens when I enter this LIVE.” TASK 1: NAME YOUR LIVE SHOW Today you’re creating an identity for your LIVE. Comment: MY LIVE SHOW NAME: WHAT MY LIVE IS ABOUT: WHO IT’S FOR: WHY SOMEBODY SHOULD STAY: You don’t have to keep this name forever. We’re practicing thinking like a HOST. TASK 2: CREATE YOUR LIVE FORMAT Build a simple structure you can repeat. Use this: OPENING Tell people immediately what’s happening. Example: “If you’re trying to grow your TikTok, you’re in the right room. Tonight I’m reviewing accounts and helping creators figure out what’s stopping their growth.” SEGMENT 1 Teach or discuss your main topic. SEGMENT 2 Interact with viewers. Questions. Account reviews. Hot seats. Stories. Debates. SEGMENT 3 Your recurring segment. Give people something they can expect every LIVE. CLOSE Tell people when you’re coming back and what the next LIVE will be about. Now you have a SHOW instead of random conversation. TASK 3: CREATE 10 CONVERSATION STARTERS Before you go LIVE, write TEN questions related to your topic. Not yes or no questions.
