90 Days To A New You
YOU ARE 90 DAYS AWAY FROM A NEW YOU I don't want to age myself, but I got my personal trainer certification 23 years ago and have held 8 specialty certifications since then. But here's the truth: all those certifications mean nothing unless you can produce results. After training thousands of people in almost every situation you can think of, I've learned a lot along the way. Today, I'm 6 feet tall, weigh 205 pounds, and walk around under 8% body fat. I am my own billboard. And one of the biggest things I've learned is that getting results doesn't have to be as complicated as people make it. You are only 90 days away from becoming a new you. But if you can't dedicate yourself to sticking to a plan for 90 days, then let's be honest—you aren't ready yet, or you don't want it bad enough. Unless you're dealing with a medical condition that needs to be addressed, there is no reason to accept walking around every day feeling like crap, having no energy, being unhappy with what you see in the mirror, and doing nothing about it. HERE'S THE "SECRET" Most of you are going to read this and think: "It can't really be that simple." It is. I'm walking proof, and so are the people I've trained. 1. Lift weights at least 3X a week. Follow progressive overload. Every week, work toward increasing your reps, increasing the weight, or improving your performance. Don't just go through the motions. Give your body a reason to change. 2. Get 10,000 steps every day. Walk. Move. Stop overcomplicating it. 3. Prioritize protein. A simple target I use is around 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight per day, adjusted when needed for the individual. Build your meals around quality protein sources, especially meat, eggs, fish, and other whole-food protein sources. 4. Keep your carbs simple. Get the majority of your carbs from: Rice Potatoes Vegetables Fruit You don't have to be afraid of carbs. You need to understand where they're coming from and how much you're eating.

@Leslie Lyon 💯 agree!
ARE YOU DOING TOO MUCH IN THE GYM?
More exercises. More sets. More time in the gym. More soreness. People automatically think that means better results. It doesn't. One of the biggest things I've learned from training for over 20 years is that I'm not trying to see how much work I can survive. I'm trying to get the most results from the work I do. That's why my current training program is built around 2 quality working sets. Set 1: 8 to 12 controlled reps. Set 2: 8 to 12 reps followed by 2 drop sets. Then I track my numbers. Once I can beat my rep range with good form, the weight goes up. That's progressive overload. You don't grow because you spent two hours in the gym. You grow because you gave the muscle a reason to adapt and then gave your body what it needs to recover. Quality over junk volume. Now I'm curious... How long are you normally in the gym? 1. 30 to 45 minutes 2. 45 to 60 minutes 3. 60 to 90 minutes 4. 90+ minutes Drop yours below.

@Victor Ortega that’s solid. Bill and I like to work the higher rep ranges; we get better pumps, and it’s a bit easier on the joints.

@Vinnie Lamonica that's awesome! I started this type of training a little over a year ago, have felt great, and continue to get stronger.
TOPICAL vs. INJECTABLE GHK-Cu 🤔
Here's a conversation I see constantly. Some people are interested in GHK-Cu because they've seen it in skincare products. Others discover injectable research discussions online. But here's the question people forget to ask: Does the route being discussed match the research being cited? You can't automatically take results from one method of administration and assume another method produces the exact same outcome. This is another reason reading past the headline matters. Tomorrow we'll start going deeper into the area most people associate with GHK-Cu: SKIN + COLLAGEN. 👇 Before joining this community, where had you seen GHK-Cu? Skincare products or research-peptide discussions?
DOES GHK-Cu ACTUALLY “REVERSE AGING?”
You've probably seen claims like this online. And this is where I think we need to be careful. There is interesting research around GHK-Cu and biological processes involved in tissue remodeling, skin, wound healing, and gene expression. But... “Interesting anti-aging research” and “this reverses aging in humans” are NOT the same statement. That's the line I'm always looking for. What's actually been demonstrated? What's theoretical? What's been shown in cells or animals? And what's actually been demonstrated in humans? The research is interesting enough. We don't need to exaggerate it. 👇 What's the biggest GHK-Cu claim you've seen online?

What's Draining Your Battery the Most?
If your body had a battery percentage right now, what would be draining it the fastest? 1. Work stress 2. Poor sleep 3. Training too hard 4. Nutrition 5. Relationships/life 6. I don't take enough downtime And here's the bigger question... What are you actually doing to recharge?
