@Jasper Roest in all seriousness, though, you know something? This group is the first time in my life, especially after Oct. 7th, that I doin't feel so lonely and unprotected - like the whole world hates me and everything I stand for and is out to get and won't stop until its teeth are stained with my blood. It's like walking in a long, dark corridor and suddenly spotting a small candle lighting a nook in the middle of it. I never really shared online, just spent my entire time on the screen in defence mode, expecting hate wherever I go and ready to protect myself/my people against it. I've never felt so safe, loved and protected among people who weren't my own. So... thanks, I guess <3

@Jasper Roest I don't remember who said it one time in the discussion group, probably Ida or Cat, but she (I distinctly recall it was a she lol) said "we have the mentality of freed slaves". She essentially said we just sit here grateful that we exist and even have a country and we're SO damn grateful that we can't even stand up for ourselves for fear that the little we have will get taken away. AND THAT'S NOT RIGHT. I kept thinking about how much on-point she was with that. Like, genuinely. We have next to nothing, not even the basic guarantee of safety when we SEND OUR DAMN KIDS TO SCHOOL - and still we let losers, as you put it, walk all over us like it's the 40s all over again! And why? Because we forgot who we are. 2000 years of exile, and we're now stuck in ghetto mode forever. Always surviving. Always protective of the little we have. Always ready to kiss the asses of people in power because maybe they'll let us survive. NO! WE WERE ONCE A DAMN EMPIRE!! WAKE UP!!
