🍂 Fall Cleaning Without the “I Must Deep Clean My Entire House Today” Energy
I just put together a new blog post on real-life fall cleaning for busy moms, and I wanted to bring the heart of it here too. Because fall cleaning does not need to mean spending an entire Saturday scrubbing baseboards while everyone else asks what’s for dinner. The goal is much simpler: make your home feel a little calmer, cozier, and easier to live in before the holidays and colder weather really kick in. A few rules I’m using this year: - Pick the rooms that actually affect your daily life. - Set a timer for 15–30 minutes. - Use a basket to scoop up clutter instead of stopping to deal with every single item. - Let the kids help with tiny jobs. - And please let good enough count. If you’re already overwhelmed, skip the giant checklist completely. Try this little 15-minute fall reset instead: start a load of laundry, clear one counter, toss obvious trash, put shoes and bags where they belong, wipe the kitchen table, and add one cozy touch. The house won’t suddenly be spotless, but it will probably feel noticeably calmer. And that’s really the point. Your home does not have to look finished or perfectly seasonal. It just needs to feel like a softer place to land at the end of the day. Your turn: if you had 15 minutes to reset just ONE area of your home today, where would you start? 🍂 I put the full room-by-room checklist, forgotten fall tasks, and an easy 3-day version in the blog post if you want the whole thing: Read The Real-Life Fall Cleaning Checklist for Busy Moms

The Chaos to Calm Reset Binder got a makeover 💜
Hey mom friends, Some of you might remember the Chaos to Calm Homemaking Reset Binder. I gave it a full refresh, and it now has its own module in the Classroom. Here’s what’s new: A fresh look that matches the rest of our Collective printables: soft teal, lavender and pink, with lots of breathing room on the page. It’s fillable now. Print it, or type right into it on your tablet or computer. Whichever kind of day it is. A clickable table of contents, so you can jump straight to the page you need instead of scrolling past forty grocery lists. Starter and blank versions of the pantry, freezer, easy meals and kids’ activity pages. Use my ideas or make your own. A Seasonal Prep page for each season, and a Mood & Energy Tracker with room for all 31 days. It’s 59 pages across seven sections: Daily Rhythms, Reset Your Mind, Home Care, Kitchen & Meals, Family Life, Gentle Check-In, and Planners & Extras. That includes the Emergency Reset Plan for the messy days and the 30-Day Simple Home Reset Challenge. It isn’t a “clean your whole house by Saturday” binder. It’s a place to put all the little household thoughts that live rent-free in your head, so you can see what actually needs you today and let the rest wait. $11 on its own in the Classroom, or Free with Premium, along with the rest of the resource library and new printables as they drop. If you grab it, tell me in the comments which page you’re printing first.

💜 Word(less) Wednesday: What Needs Less Brainpower?
Midweek question for you: What is one thing you are tired of having to think about all the time? Dinner? Laundry? Groceries? Appointments? Cleaning? Money? Remembering everyone else’s stuff? Sometimes the most exhausting things aren’t even the big things. It’s the same little decision showing up over and over and over again. So today, pick one area and ask: “How could I make this require less thinking?” Maybe that means a repeat meal, a basket where things actually belong, a standing grocery list, a reminder on your phone, or just deciding that one thing does not need to be done perfectly. You do not need a fancy system. You just need something that makes your brain say, “Oh thank goodness, I don’t have to figure that out again.” For Word(less) Wednesday, drop one word for the area you want to simplify most right now. Mine would probably be: meals. 💜

@Dee MamaswithMissions I am with you on both!
🎉 Lessons 1–5 of The Real-Life Grocery Budget are now LIVE!
The first five lessons are officially available inside The Unscripted Home Library 💜 This course is all about making grocery budgeting feel more realistic, less stressful, and actually doable for real life- not based on some perfect number that doesn’t fit your family. We’re starting with the basics: looking at what you’re currently spending, where your grocery money is actually going, what you already have on hand, and how to build a budget that feels more intentional and manageable. Just a quick reminder: The Real-Life Grocery Budget is part of The Unscripted Home Library, so you’ll need to either purchase access to the Home Library or upgrade to VIP membership to unlock it. And I’ll be continuing to add more lessons as the course grows, so there’s more coming. 💜 If you already have access, go check out Lessons 1–5 and let me know which one hits home the most

💜 Quick Reminder: The Unscripted Home Library Is Still $19… For Now
Just a little heads-up in case you’ve been thinking about joining The Unscripted Home Library but haven’t grabbed it yet. Right now, the one-time purchase price is $19. On October 20, it goes up to $29. And on November 1, the price becomes $39. The important part: this is not a monthly subscription. You pay once, and you’ll continue to have access as I keep adding new courses and resources to the Library. And I absolutely plan to keep adding to it. 💜 The whole idea behind the Home Library is to create a growing collection of short, practical courses that help with the real-life stuff that tends to make home feel harder than it needs to be — meals, routines, laundry, clutter, mental load, budgeting, and all those little things we’re constantly trying to keep up with. So you’re not just buying what’s inside today. You’re getting access to a space that will continue growing as new courses are added. If you already know you want in, $19 is the lowest price it will be. After October 20, that founder price is gone. No pressure, no fake countdown drama — I just don’t want anyone to miss the lower price and realize it afterward. $19 now → $29 October 20 → $39 November 1 And then we keep building from there. 💜
