She didn’t suddenly become fluent. She just got a little more comfortable speaking. And that’s a win. 🙌 When you’re learning Korean, it’s easy to think progress means: “I learned 50 new words.” “I finished another grammar lesson.” “I completed another chapter.” But sometimes real progress looks much smaller. You answer a little faster. You make a sentence without looking. You say something you couldn’t say last week. You feel a little less nervous opening your mouth. That counts. You don’t have to wait until your Korean is “good” to be proud of your progress. 💬 What’s ONE small thing you can do in Korean now that you couldn’t do before? It can be really small. 👇

I learnt three songs in Korean and performed two of them in front of an audience.
🇰🇷 If you had ONE free day in Korea…
No studying today 😌 You wake up in Korea tomorrow and have the whole day free. What are you doing first? ☕ Finding a cute café 🍜 Eating everything you can 🛍️ Shopping 🎤 Going to a 노래방(Karaoke) 📺 Visiting a place from your favorite K-drama Or something completely different? Tell me in English or Korean — both are welcome! And if you’ve already been to Korea, tell us what you’d do again 👇

I actually went to 노래방 in Seoul and on Jeju. It was great. I sang three songs in Korean.
👀 Be honest…
How long have you been learning Korean?
And how confident are you speaking it? Rate yourself from 1–10. 1 = 😶 I freeze when someone speaks Korean to me 10 = 😎 I can have a conversation without overthinking I’ll go first in the comments 👇

Probably a 3 for speaking and a 1 for listening.

How did you first discover Korea? 🇰🇷
I’m curious What was your very first introduction to Korea or Korean culture? Was it through K-pop, a K-drama, a movie, Korean food, gaming, or something completely different? And who was the first Korean singer, actor, celebrity, or public figure that made you interested in Korea? Maybe you heard one song, watched one drama, or randomly saw someone online and thought, “Wait, who is this?” 😄 I’d love to hear everyone’s stories!

I heard a song by Yoon Mirae and decided to record it in English but it didn’t work so I learnt it in Korean - I didn’t know one word of Korean! Whilst learning the song I loved the sound of the language and just made the decision to learn it. It’s hard but I am enjoying learning Korean.
Have you ever actually imagined this? 💭
If you woke up tomorrow and could speak fluent Korean and hold a real conversation, what would you truly want to do most? Some people might just want to chat comfortably with native locals. Others want to fully understand K-pop lyrics or K-dramas without subtitles, or maybe even get a Korean boyfriend/girlfriend! 😉 If you could wave a magic wand and be fluent in Korean, what's the first thing you'd want to do? Drop your thoughts in the comments below! 👇
