Participating in the Building Agentic AI Application Challenge with Decoding Data Science pushed me to focus on building AI that solves a tangible, high-stakes problem: delivering trustworthy agronomic guidance to farmers. That effort resulted in AgroVn AI—an autonomous field assistant designed around domain safety and reliability: ◄ Agentic Core: Built with LangGraph and Qwen-27B on Groq for fast, low-temperature reasoning. ◄ Grounded Knowledge: Combines a 13-crop verified calendar with extension search and weather advisory fallbacks. ◄ Zero-Hallucination Guardrails: Prioritizes Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and avoids fabricating chemical dosages. I've completed the Al Accelerator bootcamp, and I'm excited to share what I built with this community! I explored Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) in depth and used what I learned to create HRBuddy-a chatbot that answers questions about an organization's HR policies and code of conduct. I built HRBuddy with Llamalndex and Pinecone and deployed it on Hugging Face. Seeing it go from an idea to a working app was a rewarding step in my Al developer journey.

Just completed the DDS AI Accelerator Bootcamp Challenge and officially shipped my AI HR chatbot, Nexa. These few days were definitely not just “build and done.” 😭 I dealt with API issues, deployment problems, runtime errors, debugging, testing, and plenty of moments where I had no idea why something wasn't working. But that's exactly what made the experience valuable. I learned that building with AI is less about everything working perfectly and more about building, breaking, debugging, learning, and trying again. A huge thank you to Mohamed Arshad for guiding us throughout the challenge and continuously helping whenever we got stuck. 🙌 Really grateful for the DDS community and everyone who made this experience possible. Introducing Nevin DDS AskHR AI, my enterprise HR chatbot built as part of the AI Accelerator Bootcamp @decordingdatascience and Mohammad Arshad Employees can use the chatbot to get answers to questions regarding hours worked, annual leave balances, requesting leave, working remotely, and raising workplace issues. Powered by LlamaIndex, RAG, OpenAI Embeddings, GPT4o mini, and Gradio, I was able to link its answers to human resources policy documentation. It was rewarding to see the chatbot respond with answers to actual HR questions after troubleshooting document retrieval, validating answers with company policy, and debugging deployment.
