Sure, it might be pretty. It might even be the perfect color for your living room. But here's a crazy thought... take a picture of it and paint your own version instead. Hear me out. Most of us fill our homes with things we bought because they matched the décor. There's nothing wrong with that, but what if your walls told a story instead? Next week, my daughter and I are meeting @Michelle Cyr in person (YES! IRL!) for our very first mother-daughter paint day, and I can't wait. Not because I expect to become the next Bob Ross (I could never pull off the hair. 😂) I'm excited because years from now, that painting won't just be something hanging on the wall. It'll remind us of an afternoon we spent laughing, learning something new, and creating something together. That's the kind of art that doesn't get replaced when you redecorate. It sticks around because every time you walk past it, you remember where it came from.
