What are your thoughts?
Posted this on @atbiz_ would love to know your opinions also. I think there should be more athletic trainer owned businesses covering these sporting events.

@Cam Deckett I agree, it’s easier. I’m just saying I’m not a fan because It confuses the public on who athletic trainers are hence why we hear “physical trainer” and people don’t trust our knowledge and it would be a better look for the profession if there were more AT owned PRN businesses covering these. Not an easy answer but long term could help our profession
🚨 Big changes are coming to the CD Elite AT Hub on November 1
I started this group because ATs deserve a place to grow, both in their clinical skills and in building the careers they want. I’ve spent the past few weeks building out what that looks like. Starting November 1, here’s what’s being added: 📚 CD Elite Academy (15 CEUs). This is my full breakdown of how I approach rehab, start to finish: - Philosophy. The principles behind how I evaluate and treat - Tissues and physiology. What’s actually happening in the body as it gets injured, heals, and adapts - Joint-by-joint breakdowns of the entire body - High-level movement systems. Where it all comes together, so you can see the whole athlete and not just the injury You’ll come out with 15 CEUs and a complete rehab framework you can use on your next athlete. 🔬 Research Review CEU Library. New research reviews added regularly, each worth CEU's. 💼 CD Elite Athletic Trainer Business course. How to build your own path as an AT, whether that’s growing in your current job or creating your own. 🩺 Weekly case calls every Wednesday. We work through real rehab cases together. 🤝 AT Business Roundtable on Fridays. Open discussion on contracts, side income, starting a business, and getting paid what you’re worth. 🏆 $150 Member of the Month. It’s staying. These are just the first additions. More courses, calls, and opportunities for growth are already planned. With these additions, the Hub becomes a paid community on November 1. Founding price: $10/month for the first 20 members. After that it’s $20/month. Founding members keep $10 for as long as they stay. Here is something I am really excited about!!! 💰 Every member gets profit sharing. You’ll have your own affiliate link and earn 40% of every membership you bring in, every month they stay. At the $20 rate: - 2 referrals cover your founding membership - 3 referrals cover the full $20 rate - 13 referrals and you’re making over $100 a month just for being part of the group I want this to be a place where ATs thrive, and that should include you getting paid for helping it grow.

@Cam Deckett Roger that
Christmas in October
Was recently approached on IG by this massage device company to try out their device for a review. I like it for a couple reasons, gets me to try a new product without buying it, social media engagement and who doesn’t like getting packages in the mail?? It’s like Christmas in October! I’m affiliates with a couple different brands. Best money I’ve made is prolly a lil over $1k just promoting their product and getting some commission off it. I like brands that like me. Check out my review on @atbiz_ on Instagram!

The current athletic training model esp in the school system does not bod well for the athletic training profession. We have to change the model overall to generate revenue. No one is just gonna pay us more all of a sudden for no reason
Question for the group
What do you think are Athletic Trainers’ strengths compared to other allied health providers? (PTs/OTs, strength trainers, EMTs, RDs, etc)

I believe one of our biggest strengths is that we are in front of our athletes on a daily basis almost everyday! What other healthcare profession can say that they’re in front of their patients on the regular. We are leaving a lot of money on the table in my opinion

@Brennon King I think we are very front facing and we need to learn Sales skills to persuade our athletes more and gain revenue somehow from those sales in a new model
