@Lis Carpenter I taught abroad in South Korea and lived in China for a very short time afterwards. No other way to say it is simply different when you have "no choice" but to speak the language.

@Thommy Ty What are your thoughts on growing up in a bilingual home, or Polish home/English neighborhood? What did others think about that? I would need something in real life, though - if you and I were best friends and neighbors then learning practicing Polish on DuoLingo with your feedback that making mistakes in front of your family would definitely help me learn haha!!
