🎙️ What kind of conversations do you want to bring to our next meetups?
Since we’re still a small group of ten, I want to be super thoughtful about how we approach our live calls. With a seed community, attendance can naturally vary, and I want to make sure every single meetup is genuinely worth your time. My plan is to build a solid lineup of guest experts in solarpunk, regenerative living, and practical arts, alongside a core group of committed members. This foundation might take a little time to set up, but I’d love to know your thoughts in advance so we can build this together. 🤩 What kind of vibe sounds most valuable to you?

Maybe open connection is good while it’s starting but then guest talks as it grows. The last call was such a great learning experience. 😎
🌱 Welcome to the Solarpunk Collective!
So glad you're here. This is a space for imagining, designing, and actually building the kind of futures we want to live in, together. Tell us a little about yourself in the comments: where in the world are you joining from? Share a photo too, maybe your balcony garden, a sketch you made, your workspace, a plant you love, anything that already feels a little solarpunk to you. And we'd love to know what brought you here and what you're hoping to build, imagine, or learn. Whatever you bring is enough, finished or not. Half formed ideas and "I'm not sure where to start" are just as welcome as a finished project. Can't wait to see where everyone's joining from 🌻

Hola my names William 🌱 Joining from Montreal, Canada. I’m not sure if I have any solar punk projects now but I love learning about permaculture and technology and want to see the world move in a harmonious direction with nature. I don’t think we can fight technology or innovation but we can steer its direction, and I think now is the most important time to bring awareness to this. Thanks for making the community @Dayana Carrillo. I’m excited to help out here however I can. 🍃🤖✨🌳🌱 🐓

@Jim Flach Great to meet you. I really learned a lot on that call, so thanks again for your generosity with sharing the knowledge. My folks are around https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notre-Dame-du-Laus I don't think I'll be up there for another month or more though, so maybe the best thing to do is prepare for next spring. The thing I would want to do most is recover the apple, pear, and cherry tree if possible. Maybe I'll show you some pictures the next time I get up there. I guess the key is to get as much compost as I can to them. I regret not doing that this year.
