🌸 OUR SEPTEMBER GRATITUDE JOURNEY 🌸
Today is the first day of September and the first day of Spring here in the Southern Hemisphere... a beautiful time for new beginnings. 🌱 So, I would love to invite you to join me on a Journey of Gratitude for the month of September. 🙏 We all know how powerful gratitude can be, but sometimes the simplest practices can make the greatest difference. ✨ How does our Gratitude Journey work? Each day throughout September, come into the Village and share one thing you are grateful for that day. It can be something big or something beautifully simple... A person A moment A lesson A sunrise A conversation Your health A challenge that helped you grow Or simply being here today. 💜 I encourage you to choose something different each day. By the end of September, imagine having 30 different reminders of how much there is to be grateful for. And there is one more part to our journey... 🌿 When you share your gratitude, take a moment to read what someone else has shared. Leave them a comment, a heart, or a few words of encouragement. Because gratitude is beautiful on its own... But gratitude shared creates connection. 💜 So let us begin. 🌸 DAY 1: What are you grateful for today? Share yours below. 🙏

Today (Sept 5th), I’m grateful for a warm cup of coffee in the morning and a refreshing glass of dalandan juice in the afternoon. ❤️ Life's simple joys.😊

Today (September 6th), I’m grateful for the chance to take myself on a little date. I went to a fast-food place and enjoyed my favorite chicken fillet with pepper cream sauce and a bowl of macaroni soup. 🙂 I also spent some quiet time at church. Grateful for good food and my time with God.🙏🏽❤️

A Sacred Pause🌸
Sometimes a meaningful practice doesn’t need to be complicated. Today, you are invited to give yourself five quiet minutes — a small pause between everything you’ve been doing and everything still waiting for you. Find somewhere comfortable. Place both feet on the ground if that feels good, soften your gaze or close your eyes, and simply notice your breathing. There is nothing you need to change. Notice the breath coming in. Notice the breath moving out. Notice what is present within you today. After a few minutes, gently ask yourself: “What do I need more of today?” You might write down the first word that comes to you, carry it quietly with you, or simply notice it without needing to do anything at all. There is space here for whatever arises. 💜 COMMUNITY QUESTION: If you feel like sharing, what word came to you? You’re also welcome to simply leave a 🌿 below to say, “I took my sacred pause today.”

TIME is my word for today. I feel the need to carve out more time for myself. ❤️

You Don’t Need the Whole Map There are moments when we wish we could see exactly where life is taking us. But perhaps clarity doesn’t always arrive as a complete map. Sometimes it’s simply knowing the next small step that feels right. A conversation. A decision. A pause. A beginning. Or even choosing to wait until something becomes clearer. You don’t have to know the whole journey to honour what feels true for you today.💜

Such a lovely reminder, Sophia. I'll take this to heart. ❤️
How do you practice self-compassion?
We talk a lot about being kind to others but how often do we extend that same grace to ourselves? Self-compassion isn't about being lazy or letting yourself off the hook. It's about treating yourself the way you'd treat a friend who's struggling with patience, understanding, and a little grace on the hard days. Maybe it's a quiet morning journaling session. Maybe it's saying "I did my best" instead of "I should've done better." Maybe it's simply resting without guilt. We'd love to hear from you: What does self-compassion look like in your everyday life? Drop a comment below, your answer might be exactly what someone else needs to read today. I'll share mine in the comments. 👇

For me, it's a quiet morning journaling session.❤️ I love expressing my thoughts through writing. This is my safe space. I can pour out everything my heart feels.
