🎤 What Did You Think of Cycle 2?
We’re already thinking about how to make Cycle 3 even better, and who better to ask than the builders who just went through Cycle 2? You spent 4 weeks building, shipping, demoing, and competing. You experienced the whole thing up close, so we want to know what worked for you, what didn’t, and what you’d like to see next. Here are some prompts to get you started, but feel free to go off script: - What was your favorite part of Cycle 2? - What was the most frustrating part? - What helped you the most while building? - Was anything confusing or unclear? - What should we do more of in Cycle 3? - What would you love to see added? Drop your thoughts below. Good, bad, or somewhere in between, we want to hear it. ✍️

Honestly, one of my favorite things about Cycle 2 was how hands-on it felt. Coupled with learning at Nimiq, I got to integrate it into a real product, ship it and see how people interacted with it. For me, integrating Nimiq into Savanna Run and getting the mainnet integration working was probably the most exciting part. The weekly SIP calls were also really helpful. Being able to see what other builders were working on, share our own progress and get feedback throughout the cycle made the whole experience feel more connected. If there’s anything I’d love to see in Cycle 3, it would be to see more builders and get even more technical resources and examples around the different things we can build with Nimiq….Sometimes having a clear example of how something is meant to be implemented can save a lot of time. Overall, Cycle 2 was a really good experience for us. We built something real, integrated Nimiq into it and learned a lot along the way, Definitely looking forward to Cycle 3!🫡

@Laura Fluieraru Thank you Laura! ❤️ That honestly means a lot. Savanna Run started from wanting to take something familiar to people and give it our own African touch, so being able to build it within the Nimiq ecosystem made the whole experience even more exciting. And honestly, we didn’t run into any major technical blockers. The docs were helpful and the SIP calls made it easy to get clarification whenever we needed it. What I meant was more from the perspective of making the ecosystem even more welcoming to new builders, What I had in mind was providing more simple and practical examples of how Nimiq can be utilized in real-world products, like a comprehensive example, from setup to an actual transaction, would simplify things even further, particularly for new builders and newcomers who are unfamiliar with the ecosystem. I think that would be really helpful for Cycle 3!
