Sharing my latest short music film, From the Hills. It combines real footage, original music and AI filmmaking to explore displacement, migration and the shadow economies of Southeast Asia. With this one, I really wanted to push beyond AI as a tool for creating individual shots and see how it could work as part of a larger piece of filmmaking - story, performance, music, editing and visual language all working together. I know there are a lot of experienced creators in this community, so I’d really value your feedback on the film - what works, what doesn’t, and where you think this kind of filmmaking can go next.
