Transcript: (0:00) Uh, hello, hello, hello. Welcome to the Weekly Wise Skool Review, part one of two. We do one (0:09) before the Skool news broadcast and then one on Thursday as kind of a recap for folks of what (0:16) new was released. Today we're looking at what happened over the past week since the last (0:22) Skool news and the last Wise Skool Review episode. Skool Magazine issue 11 is out and (0:31) they've started the process of planning and preparing for issue 12, a full year of Skool (0:38) Magazine. Skoolers helping Skoolers by creating, planning, designing, publishing, producing this (0:48) incredible publication, Skool Magazine, and we'll take a look at that. We're going to take (0:54) a look right now at last week's Skool news broadcast. Skool news number 69, (1:03) introducing reviews. That was the secret project they had been hinting at in the weeks prior (1:09) reviews. Taking Skool by storm for paid communities with a certain number of reviews (1:16) submitted. Then they start showing up and of course warnings for anyone that tries to engineer it. (1:24) So every single week you can get the summary, highlights, timestamps, and transcript here in the (1:33) Wise Skool Community Hub YouTube vault where you can watch every single episode free from the noise (1:41) and distraction of the YouTube platform. No ads in your face, no watch me, watch me, watch me next (1:47) blinky blinks. It is all right here ready for you if you're not a Skool community owner and you (1:57) don't have access to the archive in the Skoolers community, which is a private club for Skool (2:03) owners, right? They've got it all here in the classroom, Skool 101, Skool News, but you can (2:09) only access that once you are a Skool community owner. Meanwhile, you've got the public portal (2:15) right here, the Wise Skool Community Hub, and I am happy to keep you on your toes, keep you well (2:24) informed, help you keep it simple. Because Skool is simple. It's designed to be simple, and we (2:32) silly humans tend to overcomplicate things, don't we? People get all wrapped up in modern marketing (2:38) and funnel tech and hustle and grind and this, that, and the other, and Skool doesn't have to (2:43) be any of those things. It doesn't have to be an online course platform or e-learning or any of the (2:50) other ideas about Skool you have. Instead of thinking about what is Skool and looking at it (2:56) from the outside, turn it around and think, what can Skool do for me? What can I do with Skool? (3:04) How can I benefit the most using this incredible new tool? Skool. This wonderful new platform that (3:13) keeps it simple. All the processing of the payments and the chargebacks or refunds or (3:22) any of that mess is handled by Skool. You only have four things for your accountant. It's so (3:27) simple. And I'm here with the simple six Skool quick start to help you get going in one day. (3:39) The Skool quick start is a one day get set, get growing. And the simple six Skool quick start, (3:46) I'm changing this to align with everything else I do, is the simple S-I-M-P-L-E steps (3:57) over six weeks to ensure that you continue that growth. Because a lot of people might start and (4:02) get that first burst and then they dwindle or they overcomplicate it or they lose faith or they have (4:08) expectations that aren't being met. So with my support as an expert community catalyst (4:17) and using the simple money method, we get you set and get going with the one day Skool quick (4:24) start. See down here in this six week service container, right? The simple six Skool workshop. (4:34) And right now, there are still a few spots left to get this absolutely incredible introductory (4:42) offer. If you hop on this now, you're saving, it's going to be $600 on September 1st or as (4:50) soon as these last few seats fill. So you want to snag one of these while there's still some (4:56) available. Absolutely incredible. Skool works for your business 24-7. Your business should be (5:02) working for you 24-7 instead of you working on your business 24-7, right? So for $247, you can (5:10) get six weeks of support from me, your expert community catalyst. That's right. Skool quick (5:18) start specialist. And I am just always so excited to help people bring their vision to life, (5:26) to clarify. And I've done so many great projects from nonprofits and business incubators, (5:32) grant writers, authors, publishers, artists, galleries, musicians, bands, studios. And (5:45) it's just a community nonprofit organizations. I mentioned nonprofits at first. It's really (5:51) exciting. Of course, I work with a lot of female fitness, women's fitness, menopausal fitness, (5:58) body workers, and pain relief specialists, because that is also a professional qualification that I (6:04) hold and have decades of experience in. And I've been a community organizer since my youth in the (6:12) 70s. So it's wonderful to bring it all together and have a way to apply all of this knowledge, (6:20) this knowing, this experience to help others create communities that serve the world, (6:28) right? In the interest of having healthy, wealthy, wise life. Achieving more with less effort. (6:34) That's what it's all about. Yeah. So let me go back to the Skool news. (6:50) There it is. And you can see this, you can look at all of this for free without even being logged (6:57) into the Skool platform or the community. It's a public portal. So here is the incognito window. (7:08) You can see right here, I'm not logged into the platform. I'm not logged in. I haven't joined the (7:13) group. But I can still look at all this stuff. Except what's locked, right? The YouTube vault (7:20) is not locked. You can come and watch all of this free from the ads and distractions (7:24) of the YouTube platform. It's all right here. All 69 and later today, 70 episodes. (7:32) Very exciting stuff. Introducing Growth Boost. So we're moving into like 10 weeks that they've been (7:39) working with since they introduced Growth Boost. And they've learned a lot. They're pushing the (7:44) boundaries to see what it's capable of. And it's really only just begun. It's super exciting. (7:50) Look at how excited they are about reviews or that sparkling water that's hiding behind that star. (8:00) Yes. Paying members can leave reviews. And after 30 days, on the 31st day, they get prompted (8:05) to do so, to leave a review. So you don't have to worry about reminding them or any of that. (8:10) They just automatically, the Skool will prompt them, hey, you've been here 30 days, (8:14) why don't you leave a review? And only members and admins can see them right now. (8:20) They're not public on the about pages. That's coming. They're collecting for a little bit and (8:27) split testing before public. That's always how Skool does this. They release something, (8:32) they test it. That's what they've been doing with Growth Boost and see how to make it better. (8:37) Streamline it, simplify it, polish it, to make it work for us. So incredible. This team, Sam, (8:44) thank you so much. Sam, Andrew, all of the Skool team, absolutely amazing. (8:52) So yeah, prompted on day 31 and don't offer incentives, otherwise you get a big red warning (8:59) on your page. So yeah. Roadmap update. Languages now also feature French and Portuguese. Who (9:09) knows, today they might be introducing Italian, Vietnamese, Chinese. What else was on the list? (9:15) Turkish. Let's see. We could go to the post to find out here. A little easier for me to sort (9:22) through. Reviews. Languages. Yes. English, Spanish, and German were live. Then they released French (9:30) and Portuguese last week. And next up is Chinese, Italian, Vietnamese, Turkish, and Dutch. There you (9:35) have it. The secret project was reviews. Languages is still releasing. The efficiency scoring is (9:42) still releasing. Growth boost optimization is still underway and global fast payouts are (9:46) happening. Next up are the payment methods and the global currencies. So many growth boost wins (9:55) every single week. Expect more of those this week. And I already mentioned in this community, (10:01) the Simple Six Skool Workshop. I'm renaming the Simple Six Skool Quickstart to maintain (10:07) alignment with my other product service. Quickstart. One Day Profitable Skool Quickstart. (10:14) That's what it's about. Get it set up. Stop spinning around in your head, tweaking about (10:20) page ideas or whatever. Just set it up. I do it for you. If you're an established business, (10:26) I do it for you in one day. Just a set of hours. I take your existing marketing messaging and (10:32) branding assets and social stuff and I create your Skool for you and you are ready to go. (10:37) Making money first day. If you have an established list of clients, customers, (10:43) followers, fans, et cetera, members. So many Skools of the week. Food Film School, (10:49) Scientifically Faster, Cavity Free Collective, Wheelchair Bodybuilding Super Niche, and F1 (10:55) Career Accelerator if you're looking for a career in F1 racing, Formula 1 racing. Yeah. (11:01) So these were the great Skools spotlighted last week. Frustrated with cavities? Join the Cavity (11:07) Free Collective. I love that name. It's very alliteration-like. You know I love it. Oops, (11:13) I didn't put the transcript there. Oops. But I have been adding the raw audio for those of you (11:19) that like this. It has dog barking. It has me clicking as I'm typing. It has the mouse clicking. (11:25) It has all of the noises of me sniffing and snuffling and who knows what else is going on, (11:29) alarms or anything. It's raw. But some people wanted that. They didn't want to wait for the (11:34) replay and they just like it real and raw like that. There it is. (11:41) Growth Boost wins so many, just so many. If you're in the Skool community, you see them every day. (11:48) Thank you. Growth Boost is insane, insane. It's great. It's amazing. Wow. Oh my God. Yes. Oh my (11:53) goodness. Yes. So there you have it. That's the lowdown. That's the review. We're getting ready (11:59) for the broadcast top of the hour here. I look forward to that. I'll be back on Thursday to give (12:08) you the rundown on all of that and any other insights. One other thing today is, of course, (12:14) as I mentioned and as I have featured several places all last week, Skool Magazine 11 (12:20) was the Friday featuring showcase. Put your Skool in the spotlight. Yeah. Halfway through August, (12:27) halfway through quarter three. Can you believe it? And almost an entire year of Skool Magazine. (12:35) I started out. I met Zach in the Skoolers community in the comments and dove right in. (12:41) I did profile features on a few folks like Jason Flamm and Joe DeFilippo, the most notorious man (12:48) on Skool. Tiffany Taylor of BYOB and Ava Raposa. Did I miss someone? I think that was it. (13:04) And I've been contributing with the Skool news review stuff as well. And yes, the transcript (13:10) is there, but you can come watch this video. It's another public portal. Anybody can watch it (13:15) without joining the community or logging into the platform, although it is recommended that you do so. (13:22) The showcase, the classroom is an expo hall where you can come and view. It's kind of a (13:28) directory of Skools, but it's really just a showcase. It's a showcase. It's not a directory. (13:33) It's a showcase. You can come and explore. Like, you know, walk through the booths and check out (13:38) what they've got. There's some freebies here and some freebies there. And yes, we will be making (13:42) this into a live in real life showcase expo in the future. So very exciting stuff. And yeah, (13:51) come check it out. There's a whole booth here for Skool Magazine that tells you all about it (13:58) from issue one all the way through to 11. It tells you about the Skool Magazine community (14:05) by Skoolers for Skoolers. It shows you the Read Skool Magazine community, which is just (14:11) where you go to, hello, Read Skool Magazine. And then I have a little blurbs, the contents (14:16) from each issue. You can see here in number one, my piece on Jason Flamm, very slender (14:24) contents. And then we get into number two, a little bit more going on here. And I did that (14:30) to bring your own business with Tiffany. TNT. And then a lot more contents in issue three. (14:39) We get into issue four here. And yes, we've got cartoon action going on. Number five, (14:52) look at the graphics start to get sharper. There's Ava. And who did I profile in issue four? (15:08) Hmm, maybe I didn't. Let's go find out. Here's the Read Skool Magazine community. (15:35) When in doubt, go see, right? Oh, I remember this one. (15:42) Here we are. There we are again. Community showcase. Oh, look, I profiled the community (16:06) showcase. That's what it was. It wasn't a person, it was the showcase. Look at all this. (16:16) A lot of growth going on in this magazine. This is only issue four. And very exciting stuff. (16:23) More contributors every week. And there you have it. Check it out. And join us for the (16:32) Skool news broadcast notes and screenshots coming up at the top of the hour. I'm super (16:38) excited. I'm going to make another cup of coffee and get ready. Yeah. And who knows what they're (16:44) going to release. More languages, more growth boost wins, and other exciting stuff. Skool (16:49) of the week. Yay. Make it a great day the wise way. I'll see you soon.
