Hey everyone, I’ve been a machinist for 5 years now. Started on a milltronics rb19 3 axis, and now run a haas umc-750 at work. The milltronics I started on timed out in the shop and they gave it to me for nothin. I was also in the process of building my own 1000sf shop in the backyard. So I had a machine sitting there for 3 months until I completed it. I moved my power line and got 300 amps dedicated to the shop, installed heating and air plumbing and just got it insulated. Just recently I picked up a second machine for pennys, a fadal vmc15 with rigid tapping. I haven’t really put my name out there yet but have been staying busy just by word of mouth. Looking forward to diving into more work now that the shop is done and up and running!
