🔵 Regulatory Update The FDA recently issued warning letters to multiple U.S. peptide sellers marketing unapproved injectable products, including retatrutide, SS-31 and tesamorelin. FDA also states that retatrutide and cagrilintide cannot currently be used in compounding under federal law. This is another reminder that being studied in clinical trials is not the same as being FDA-approved for use. Important distinction: these results are for the combination, not proof that cagrilintide alone produces the same results.
