This is The Ugly Duckling, an animated film produced in the Soviet Union in 1956. It’s based on Hans Christian Andersen’s story published in 1843. Today’s lunch is this Okinawa noodle. We call it soki soba. And I don’t know how to say this in Japanese, but it’s a pork and egg rice ball. These were very cheap. They were only three dollars in total, and they tasted great. I moved to a convenience store and bought a shaved ice with black sugar liquid and Mochi.
