Google has just released on Aug 18 2026 a new update that on some websites has caused impressions on websites to fall to virtually zero. Just incase any of you have experienced this, if your drop in impressions happened just after this date then it is probably the cause. Whilst from what i can see its not about AI content its about 'a lot of thin content' they are trying to weed out. After Ive looked into this I will create a tool that will inspect your site and give you some feedback about your site if you think it has been affected.
