Happy Tuesday! Lesson learned from my 7 year old grandson. My grandson has been facing challenges at school and often gets frustrated when assigned a task, feeling that everything must be done perfectly. We have been reminding him that everyone makes mistakes and that perseverance is what truly matters. We even shared with him that his mother, daddy, grandparents, aunts, and uncles are far from perfect, but we keep trying and never give up. Through my grandson’s experience, God reminded me that He does not expect perfection from us. Instead, He looks at our hearts, our motives, and our willingness to try. "I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." Philippians 3:12-14 I pray this message encourages you to keep pressing forward, trusting that God values our heart and willingness over perfection.
